  • JW,
I believe Congrats are in order!! You finally found those sets from our friend Martyn. The man finds everything!! All the best, Lawrence
    Hi John

Thank you for your kind comments.
The figure you ask about is a nice Trophy set, I know the guy selling it, he is down sizing his collection. Larry Lo and, I believe, Tommy Allison have bought from him.

    Cheers

    Martyn
Hi John: Take a look at my trivia question "Monopoly in WWII". Might be a good test question for your classes. Best regards, Tommy

    Hi JW,
I am very glad, that you like my collection of aircraft. Your Skoda Mortar is amazing. Greetings from Prague to Arkansas sends Mario.
Hi John: Thanks for the comments. There is a new member selling nine good Marlborough sets in "classified" in case you are interested. Best regards, Tommy
Hi John: I really like the ATS boats and they have some unusual sets. They match up with Trophy pretty well. I don't have any LL but I think he used to work for Len. I am currently looking for an Arab dhow. Britains is coming out with a Nile River paddle wheel steamer. I am still into Marlborough durbar and some Beau Geste durbar. Four Feathers has some well done unusual sets. Obviously, my eyes are larger than my wallet. Great to hear from you. Best regards, tommy
Thanks John, I've been collecting USMC and USN related items for a while.
    Cheers

    Lawrence,
Thanks for following up. Boy, I would "freak out" if you could find some of these sets. There are three sets NE11, NE12, and NE13 and they come from Trophy's Napoleon in Egypt line. Since your stomping grounds are New York, you may find some of these while you are searching for your Trophy Artillery. I have tried to load photos below, but if they do not work, i have put them in my Trophy album. These have always been my favorite Trophy sets, of course I love Ottoman history. I have some mamelukes, but not these. thanks lawrence. Keep in touch.

    JW,
Do you happen to have the set numbers for what you are looking for as I do not collect the Napoleonic line and I don't have any idea what they look like? If you have a photo, please send it along. Thanks
Hi, Yes very much so. I get them from my Portuguese dealer that gets them for me at the London shows, LL is always there. They are very close to Trophy's standards. But the best glossy Naps I have ever seen and my favorite Toy Soldiers really are Imperial's, different less action pose style, but beauties all round, I am collecting them all the way.

    JW,
Sometimes you can find deals on ebay for Trophy, but it is getting harder. Let me know what you are looking for - never know what pops up - just look at what Boerboy has been able to find. Happy hunting!
    JW,
Finally got around to checking on the Gardiner Gun. Looks like I have the wrong box as it is marked SEQ-6 and the catalogues I have should be EQ-18. Another mystery is the figures I have are different from the catalogues - mine have on their right arms markings in red "2 LG." Are yours the same?
    Hi,thanks for your comments.
I live in the middle of Portugal, so if I cross the border to Spain it must be some 200km away from where I live.
