    Digital camoflauge

Has anyone attempted to paint digital camo (ACU, MARPAT, CADPAT) on a 54 mm figure? If so, what technique did you use?

    American Revolution

Does K&C have any more American Rev figures in the pipeline? As it is, all American figures are in the process of being retired and the entire line seems focused on the King's 23rd Regiment of Foot, the Royal Welch Fusiliers. Can we expect to see any reinforcements arriving this upcoming year?

What options are out there for modern troops?

What plastic figures are offered with modern US combat uniforms; ie kevlars, IBAs, assault rifles, etc. I've seen a few sets of small 1/72 wargaming figures, but is there anything on a larger scale? Mike

UPDATED NEWS: Old Toy Soldier Home, Vista, CA, is NOT closing!

Re: Bad News: Old Toy Soldier Home, Vista, CA, is closing! Hi Peter, Craig called me up several days ago to tell me about some issues he is having with his health, and to inform me that his store is going under. I am planning on going in, in person next weekend to try to get some more...

UPDATED NEWS: Old Toy Soldier Home, Vista, CA, is NOT closing!

Bad news: It looks like Craig McClain's Old Toy Soldier Home is going to be closing sometime in the near future due to the negative effects of this economy. I've been going to this store ever since I was a kid and I had a chance to work there for a short time on the side. Craig McClain has done...

What are you Favorite K&C AWI Regiments or Releases?

Nicely done, your dioramas (and avatar {sm4} ) are always a pleasure to behold! I was lucky enough to pick up a set of the militia, I find they work best in a small group vs. the woodland indians, and they would complement a Lexington militia series very nicely.

What are you Favorite K&C AWI Regiments or Releases?

I'd love to see K&C do a small Lexington Green set, maybe a range of 10 figures including militia, Major Pitcairn, and British Light Infantry. Regards, Mike

What are you Favorite K&C AWI Regiments or Releases?

I wouldn't buy any Continental Congress sets, my focus is on the military and they wouldn't add anything to the collection. I might buy AWI military personalities, however, similar to the ones done by Britains.

How well do Frontline Figures work with Britains?

I collect the AZW range, right now all Britains, but I was looking on the Frontline website and I was surprised by the quality and detail of the Zulu and British figures, especially in light of their affordable prices. Does anyone know how well these two lines complement each other? Thanks and...

What are you Favorite K&C AWI Regiments or Releases?

For British, I loved the Regulars sets, especially the marching poses. When deployed as a full company, they are a fine showing of British military might. For the Colonials, I'd have to agree with Larry, the New York regt. (second release) figures are incredibly well sculpted and painted. Its a...

Critiquing or mocking a set you don't like?

Here's my take on the matter. This hobby is full of large and boisterous personalities. I work at a shop that deals in military miniatures so I've gotten to meet many of these characters first-hand. From where I stand, the people are what make up this fine hobby and make it enjoyable, even more...

    The west 2013

The Little Bighorn is one of the, if not the most discussed battle in history. I definitely liked the Blackhawk figures, but I think this would be a great range for Britains to expand into, and one that would find a large target audience. If they release anything Little Bighorn, I'll be buying...

Im a young collector!!!! AND I know lots of history!

You may very well wish to check out Norwich. They were the first college to adopt ROTC programs, and their Cadet program is in many regards superior to that of USMA. In school, I was a bit of a slacker so my grades were not high enough to allow me into West Point, but if you can get into any...
