    I Applaud K&C!

Well, yes, it would be a bit of sarcasm. I would have thought it was obvious. I do, however, believe that there is a certain amount of Andy-Christ (phrase began by the folks at Frontline Figures) bashing that goes on here though, not from me.

    I Applaud K&C!

OK, love fest OVER! Now back to our regularly scheduled Andy bashing: Down with K&C, DOWN WITH ANDY!!!! Can't let that Kilted Kretin's head get too big.

    New Arnhem Series??

My understanding of this is, Andy plans to have the Arnhem line "re-worked" in the same manner that the Iwo Jima line was. His plans may have changed but, that was the last that I had heard.

    Andrea

Andrea has branched out into the pre-painted figure market. They offer figures that are painted (same fig that comes in kit form) and packaged in a clear blister pack. I have seen a few of them and they look well done but, the blister packaging makes it hard to tell (it doesn't show the figure...

    Kriegsmarine

Dieppe was defended by Kriegsmarine who were pressed into service due to a lack of Infantry to deal with the Canadian raid. That would be the way you could work KM figs into the line. A Dieppe branch of the WWII line with Canadians and Kriegsmarine squaring off. No vessel needed.

    Making diorama's

I find the most important thing is, "think outside the box". When you're out and about, look at ordinary things and try to picture them as something else. Think of how to use what you have on hand to create what you need. Imagination is more important than craft skill (though, the 2 together...

    Any Idea Who Makes These

The straps are mostly "pleather" (plastic leather-like substance). The sling on the Brown Bess is leather. Leather is too delicate and breaks too easily in that scale. Angus is a very well done figure. DiD has made some trade offs for the sake of keeping cost down, velcro is used in a couple of...

    Any Idea Who Makes These

Modellers Loft: http://www.modellersloft.co.uk/ Are the ones driving the DiD Napoleonic bus. They have done 3 figures, so far, 2 Scots and 1 French with plans to do more. DiD is producing them for ML but, they are readily available through most online 1/6 dealers. I have the Black Watch fig...

    Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL

No rumor, fact, Waterloo was originally 4 hours. Theater owners complained bitterly that they couldn't make a profit so, it was pulled and edited down to the version we see today. A friend of mine saw it before the edit in theaters. The guy at Belle & Blade has been searching for the lost...

    War Of 1812

The variation comment is more about there not being enough difference between a Waterloo British soldier & a War of 1812 British soldier. The American militia could double as Alamo defenders & vice versa. There are a few Regular American Regiments but, the uniform diversity is limited.

    War Of 1812

The trouble with the War of 1812 is, the same as the problem with the Korean War, not enough difference in the uniforms & equipment. I agree that it is an interesting subject but, the Regular American Army being very small, doesn't offer much in the way of diversity of uniform (the majority of...

    Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL

I'm with you Fubar, when I was younger, I absolutely hated reading because, I had never found a book that interested me and I could not bring myself to read just any old book to do book reports. My mother was worried that I would never learn to read. I then came across a book on Waterloo in the...

    seek injection plastic manufacturer

I would contact Nick over at Toy Soldiers of San Diego. He might point you in the right direction (there is always the worry of new competition keeping you in the dark). He has started producing his own in league with Barzo. Nick's a good guy and will probably help you out if he can.
