    Second Editions and Retirements

Hi Brad, Thanks for the follow-up. I actuallly have the dispatches downloaded from late 2002 to about this past June from either Pete's site, or via postings to the forum. This is what I used to build the database of released/retired dates. I saw the posting for the original bunker, the...

    painted product

Did everyone get painted pictures of all the sets? I received the "add-on" set as painted product, but didn't get the mortar or PAK sets (just have the initial non-painted/sculpted photos). Thanks, -Rich

    Second Editions and Retirements

Need some help for keeping my K&C database up to date and accurate when it comes to second editions or repaints/reissues (not sure what to call them). When did the following two sets officially get released? I've not seen them in the dispatches, and sometimes miss the announcement threads...

    FJ Question for Andy

I think that is part of the problem, Thomas Gunn is turning out some excellent FJs at the moment, both in Normandy and Tropical schemes, so why saturate the market? As noted in the other thread I think this, combined with the last release being a fair amount of repaints that sold slowly, may...

Now that the FJ's are Retired possible Andy is .....

Is it possible the FJ's were dropped due to the recent flurry of Thomas Gunn FJ's that hit the market since the summer? I figured that had something to do with it (saturation). I have the Crete FJ's from K&C, but had been putting off on some of the newer ones, as many of them were simply...

    Tracking the Enemy

Very nice display! Thank you for posting. While I do collect WW2, I also have AWI and ACW, so really enjoy seeing what others have done with their displays. Keep up the good work! -Rich

    Figarti M4 Dozer

This was delivered to me this morning: No damage (the new packaging continues to perform well!), and no issues with decals, malformed parts and the paint is good. This is an excellent piece. I'm also impressed by the Figarti figures of late, and will be looking into their figure...

    Figarti's M-7 Priest

I seem to be having the bad luck it seems... Blown barrel: Bad decal: Off center decal: Broken/repaired fender (came this way, I've not glued anything): That said, it is an excellent model, and I believe Rick is doing what he can to address the QC issues.

    German Army 1940 (Dio)

Very nice! Who makes the house used in this display? Really like the early war German grey vehicles. -Rich

    Anyone want one of these?

Better not be a Grey Goose exclusive, I've wanted one of these for awhile...

    Tropical 88

Hi Terry, Thanks for the feedback. Here are some pictures of the 88 to see what I mean by off centre: Photo 1 is a front view, shows the gun is tilted to the left. Photo 2 is a top view, shows the shield is off alignment with the gun, but this I figured could be explained away (don't know...

    Tropical 88

For those that have picked this piece up, are you able to raise and lower the gun into other positions and have it stay in place? I'm pretty much left with either having the gun all the way down, or all the way up. Won't stay in place with it slightly or moderately elevated, but am not sure if...

    SdKfz 251/C- Winter

Actually I was thinking the same thing. I would have purchased the Hanomag if it weren't for the oversized hinges. Doing working hatches to scale can be troublesome, as evidenced by some of the Figarti issues with breakage. Limits the display possibilites to some degree, but not a big loss...

    Retired List

Did some playing around with the database last night and today. I've updated it to reflect the most recent releases, added "Remember the Alamo", "Life of Jesus" and a few other things, but the biggest change is that you now have the ability to generate a dispatch type listing on the fly...

What next for Figarti Allied AFV's.

I think the K&C one satisfied collectors for that piece. Now a desert Sherman... :D

What next for Figarti Allied AFV's.

So does that mean we should put in our pre-orders now? :)

What next for Figarti Allied AFV's.

Great poll. Following my desert tendancies I'd love to see the desert Sherman and Matilda... but then a Sherman calliope would be nice also... why not just make them all? :D

Figarti's M-7 Priest Not so Shock and Awe like Collectors think

Reading through this thread I'm curious as to how one obtains the books by Mike Starmers? A quick Google search doesn't yield much, and I get the feeling these are more home grown books vs. mass market. Any insight is appreciated, and thank you for some great responses to an otherwise negative...

What to Do With All Those Little Boxes

I have mine sorted by size in clear Sterilite containers in the basement with the stickers up facing the outside (for easy identification). Found 2-3 sizes that work well for storing the various common sized boxes, and put the odd sized ones on an open storage shelf near the containers. Used...
