Thanks for the heads up on gentle giant's site Scott! That's a great deal for those considering how bad everyone else is trying to rip you off for them! They had those new blood spattered poses of zombies at Orlando as well...but as a painter, clearly I had no need for those.

Thanks for the comments gents! You know I had the same idea banging around while I was painting these guys...thinking how gruesome you could make a battle scene or post battle scene. Have at it guys, I would love to see some conversion work by some of you! There are 7 poses overall in the set...

ahhh....Just checked TSSD's website again to verify...before it just said stay tuned for Vietnam...now it identifies the fact that these are being produced by a fellow manufacturer and TSSD will be 1 of 3 retailers to sell them. Must be Marxmans.

Denver, I use mainly size '0' paint brushes, spotters and liner varieties...I have a few Vallejo brushes that I got at hobby shops and I also always buy some at craft stores like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc...sable brushes are the best in my opinion but they cost more. Hard to judge how long...

Just finished off my latest figure in my recent flurry of painting - TSSD rebel calvary trooper. A lot of fun to paint, great detail - it's all there you just have to get the paint on these guys and they come to life!!

Finished off the Centurion, he turned out pretty nice! Here's the 2 barbs and the 2 Romans all together, and some mixed shots with a few Conte Romans for comparison.

Absolutely Fish - that's because a human didn't sculpt them - a computer did! The barbarians are much better as they were sculpted by a human - it makes a huge difference.
