    New Release: Scots Greys!

I really like the poses for the troopers. Very animated and dramatic as per 'Scotland Forever". However I have a problem with the horses besides the uniformity of the 'grey'. All of the horses seem to have the same positioning of their ears. I was brought up with horses and I am sure that when...

    New information on John Jenkins

Some figures loading and defending/attacking with the bayonet would be good.

    Shenandoah Miniatures

Does anyone know how these figures match up in terms of size with Collector's Showcase and King and Country?

    Russian Figures

I have always been amazed by the amount of detail that the Russian painters are able to get on their connoisseur level figures. I couldn't imagine a brush being capable of attaining that fine detail. Does anyone know how they do it, or know of any web-sites or books describing the process.

    Emblem

I know this is completely off topic, but the host site might look at this Australian Treefrog as a new emblem. http://www.treehugger.com/files/2010/01/frog-eats-snake.php

I really like the look of these figures, but I have not been able to find a link/web-site for where the kits can be purchased. Can anybody help out? Thanks.

    Scotland Forever

I see that Matt from First Legion has now posted twice on this thread and not made any comment regarding the Scots Greys. I wonder whether we can infer from this silence, that they're on their way. They do have the following on their web-site :- "Of course, we continue to sculpt all sorts of...

    Scotland Forever

The first time I saw it was actually on the front cover of a commemorative record of Scottish marching songs my father bought, that came out when the regiment was amalgamated in 1971. I must be fortunate with my wife, as she spent $300.00 this Christmas getting my 'Scotland Forever' print...

    Scotland Forever

Yes I have seen them and I have one of them. You have certainly done an excellent job of displaying them. I suppose the only weakness IMHO is the animation of the horses. I think First Legion have really excelled themselves with the sculpting and painting of their horses and I can only...

    Scotland Forever

I wonder whether First Legion will ever do the Greys. I know they've been done by King and Country, but I don't think anyone has ever done them in a way remotely like Lady Butler's version. I remember seeing her painting for the first time. It really got me interested in the Napoleonic...

    Ideas for WWII Dioramas

I don't know whether they are still selling the book on the link you have provided, but they have some good photo examples of what is in the book. As a matter of interest Amazon in the UK are currently selling the book for 34 pound stirling or around $54.00 US new. You need to access the UK...

    Ideas for WWII Dioramas

I was recently looking around for contemporary photos for some ideas I have for a street fighting WWII diorarma. I would like to highly recommend a book I picked up through abebooks called "Bloody Streets - The Soviet Assault on Berlin, April 1945" by A.S.Hamilton. It is a hefty tome, coming...

    Brilliant

Thanks for that Simon. I had another look at the K&C figures on their site, that are currently being retired and it appeared to me at least, that the camouflage varies between them. About half of them seem to be very similar to the TG Normandy ones. Regards Craig

    Brilliant

Here goes with my first post. I have received all of the Normandy FJ's and they are excellent. I am also hoping that some general 'grunts' are going to be available in the not too distant future. K&C are extremely compatible size wise and I would be very interested in hearing from anyone as to...
