    Officer's Mess by John Firth

Congratulations on a fantastic vignette... this should be published! May I suggest you send it to Old Toy Soldier Magazine or another toy soldier publication? You may also want to send it Norman Joplin or James Opie for consideration for one their future books. Well done again. cheers, Hugh PS...

    Britains Xmas set?

I heard from Richard. I guess this explains the situation: :( "Hi Hugh – we have decided not to do a Christmas set this year. With our production issues we felt it better to try and deliver what we have already promised on time and not complicate matters with another set that stood a very...

    Britains Xmas set?

I have just emailed Richard and Jennifer Hollenback asking about this (she emails when new figures have arrived at WBritain). Will let you know what I hear.

    Britains Xmas set?

I haven't been on the forum for a while so not sure if this is answered or not. Does anyone have any idea what the Xmas set will be this year?

    "Duty, Honour, Country"

How about a Britains calendar! Has anyone suggested this? It could be offered through the Collectors Club? Could be 2 versions - matte and gloss. For the gloss one, it could be a combination of some of your photos as well as some behind the scenes views of figures in the various stages of...

    "Duty, Honour, Country"

These articles are great! Will take me some time to go through them. Congratulations to Treefrog for seeing the value of this. Why though are they, were they, not posted on the Britains site?

    Holiday Redcoats and Petticoats!

Craig, You're right about this one. Unfortunately, I never got it. Will have to look for it on Ebay. At least for Xmas 2010 there should be 3 nice sets to go together!

    50012C Glendary soldier(Zulu range),running 24th with the musctache

Ales, Some dealers accept vouchers, some don't. It's their decision. My local dealer used to take them and he just decided this year not to. The Clubs take them so that is a last resort. Sounds like you have made a contact there with the UK Club, so stick with it, I'm sure it will work out.

    A Sudan Vignette

Randy, Another one for your online virtual Britains photo collection :D I hear from my local dealer these are selling well, so we should probably expect more from this series. Dismounted with camel, stretcher bearer like the matte one, camel corps artillery, standard bearer, bugler, camel at rest?

    Holiday Redcoats and Petticoats!

Ken, I have the 2008 and ordered the 2009 one. I think its great to have a series of Xmas sets that build on one another. That was the problem with previous Xmas ones, they were all stand alone, so would look funny if put all together. I like the idea of a street scene, that could be added to...

    Bluecoats

Ken, I always enjoy reading the history and background of the figures being produced. I wonder if there is a way to bring this to more people, instead of vanishing in a Treefrog thread? On WBritain.com, would it be possible to hyper link a brief description of your research into certain...

    "Duty, Honour, Country"

Randy, I may have asked this before. Have you any plans to publish/post all your photos on a website? Maybe for the WBritain site or at least linked to it. Seems to me that the way you show them would be a selling point for the figures. Any idea how many you have done to date?

You could also email the WBritain club directly and ask them to discount your order the required amount.

William Britains 2009 London Collectors Club Event Pictures

I like that Rorke's Drift sandbag emplacement, it could also be used in different ears, including as a WWII MG emplacement or obeservation post.
