2015 College Football (3 Viewers)

Time for the last rodeo. I think this is a pick'em game but I'm going with Bama. They have been red hot and have the physical O and D to wear out Clemson. It should be close until the end when Bama finishes them off. The Lame Kiffin factor is hanging out there though. He is tight in big games and it wouldn't surprise me if Bama goes conservative. If Clemson can stop the meat and potatoes runs and short passes, Bama might be in trouble.

The Pick: Bama 38 Clemson 30.
Could I have your Power-ball numbers this week?^&grin -- Al

Clemson played a good game, but those 5 big yardage collapses... -- Al

Bama wins 45-40, a very worthy championship game and the best part is, I don't have to mount a suicide watch on my brother.^&grin Congrats to Bama. -- Al

Watson played an incredible game, I thought he was over-rated. I obviously don't think that anymore.
Ain't that the truth. First time I'd seen Clemson this season. Watson was really something. -- Al

Al,
I'd give him a quick call if I were you, that game took five years off my life and I'm just a casual Bama fan...............what a game, that onside kick turned the whole game around, what a ballsy call that was.

I saw this on another forum; "I hate Alabama, they're the New England Patriots of college football"......................LOL............ain't that the truth, too bad Bama haters.......................ROLL TIDE!!

Yes, that onside kick changed everything.

I don't watch an excessive amount of college football but it seemed to me that Dabo was apoplectic on almost every play. Is this the norm? And then when the end seemed inevitable he had that beaten down, resigned long. Most NFL coaches seem to keep an even keel; you can't tell if they're winning or losing from their expression.

George, I will contact him today just to check on him. Family Rule #7 is DO NOT phone brother Tim during any Bama football event; game, practice, news conference, etc. The shock of the phone ringing can trigger an 'episode'.
At any rate, I'm sure he is on cloud 9 today. It is Bama's 4th title under Saban in just the last 7 years. Pretty impressive. -- Al

That last minute Td by Clemson, allowing Clemson to cover the Vegas point spread, swung an estimated $10 million in Vegas alone. Anyone who bet Clemson to cover the 6.5 point spread is probably very happy this AM. :rolleyes2: -- Al

Wow, score slightly off, but essentially got it right.

I noticed this, too. I think he is in a class of his own. It is true that there is some more emotion in college football, but I have not seen his like in a while.

Good coaches always seem to be lucky. LOL. If that kick had cost Bama the game, Saban would have some explaining. But it did so now hopefully he is on to the NFL. Except for the offseason arrests of various players that is pretty much it for this year.

Exactly; if you pull it off, you're a genius, if it does not work, you're a bonehead.

I don't get all the Bama hate I'm reading around the internet today.

Haters=jealous fans of other teams.

Bama has 43 McDonalds high school all americans on their roster; Clemson has 8.

It's not Bama's fault that kids WANT to go there and play. Their front seven is unreal, they've got at least four players from their defense that will go in the first round this year.

What a machine, I respect and admire that program.

George:

People forget that it was not that long ago that 'Bama was the doormat of the SEC. Dennis Franchione and Mike Shula oversaw a program that either lost badly or vacated wins for NCAA violations. They paid their dues and are now back on top.

Hatred comes with being a winner. Look at the winning teams in each major pro sport. Each one with the most championships is among the most despised.

Agreed, as my good friend Mike Miller likes to say "Haters gonna hate", so that's on them.

As I always like to say about the Patriots, for the first 41 years of their history, outside of two trips to the Super Bowl, they were a laughing stock; the last 15 years are what has got peoples shorts in a knot.....................once Brady and then Belichick retire, they'll be doormats and forgotten by all the haters...............but for now, deal with it.

Couldn't agree more, BAMA is a machine and fun to watch, gotta give them and Saban credit. BUT I agree haters always hate the winners, look at the crap Florida State took while they were on top and the scrutiny, it borders on ridiculous.
