2019 (1 Viewer)

Steve mate,
A 106 RCL and 81mm Mortar would be great, but both were also used by we Aussies in NAM. However the main thing I am expecting will be my dream come true is the mighty K&C Aussie Centurion Tank and three crew. A troop of four would be the best thing in my collection and might even push my four EA Matildas to one side. Also have to save hard for the 13 x M113A1s coming out in April, 2019. A troop of 13 will make a great Dio with the four Centurions attacking at the Battle of Binh Ba.
2019 is going to be the best year of my 14 years as a K&C collector. Have a great New Years and keep those NAM dios coming.

Cheers from the Land Down Under, Howard

You're determined to see me ruined Howard {sm4}

More JJD Caesarian Roman fort sentries, marching figures, mules, carts, Centurion, Optio etc.

Would like to see more terrain/display boards on offer.

Happy New Year out there!

What's with all this ado about 81mm Mortars?What /who wants to hump this beast in S.E.Asia,,ANYTIME?

Infantry companies have 60mms in their organic weapons platoon. As far as I've seen,NOBODY out there has made one.(Yeah,those were humped through the bush if needed.Certainly in WW2.) A couple of bangalore torpedo dudes,satchel charges,WW2 rifle grenadiers ,and how about a SeaBee special .Bulldozer,eh?
And maybe a 57mm recoiless rifle for Korea?

Happy New Year, Randy,

A good while ago I made a "WISH" for a series focused on SeaBee's.

I don't believe that has ever really been approached by any major T.S. manufacturer. I believe some of the model companies (Tamiya, Dragon, Revell, etc) have some offerings, but they are 1/35 scale. What a great addition to the K&C USMC (WWII) Pacific line, or the K&C USN line, or maybe the - Tom Gunn - RS series.

For 100's of references just <Google or Bing> the subject and see the plethora of people and equipment. Think of the movie "Fighting Seabees" with John Wayne as one example. Also some great footage in YouTube and such.

I would hop on that in 1/2 a heartbeat …. {sm4}

--- HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the collectors out there, across the world.

A special mention to Julie and all the T.F. folks for giving us this incredible platform to chat and learn.

......here's hoping Andy can slip a couple of dodgy Kiwi trackers into the mix to help direct all that heavy traffic Howard. :salute::

We wouldn't want any of our Aussie cousins to get lost in the jungle would we..........:tongue:^&grin

I look forward to the release of the Eagle Design Kingtiger; which has been on their development list for awhile. I expect it to be more accurate than the previous releases by K&C, TCS and FL; all of which had major errors!

A F6F Hellcat from JJD would be a nice complement to their superb F4U Corsair. A JJD TBD Avenger would be a winner too. Too many Navy Aviation figures for too few aircraft types IMO!

Happy New Year one and all.

More twin seater WWI types, and more WWI warbirds in general by TGM and JJD

Also more WWII armor and warbirds...

In general like where most of my favorites are going. Impossibl e to like or try to collect all!

Happy and HEALTHY 2019 to all!!!

That the one with the major error , I thought you would of spotted it being a expert on Afv ^&confuse

I see several errors in the prototype photographs. I presume they will be corrected prior to production. The preproduction Figarti KT also had errors and they were corrected prior to production.
Eagle Design has a good track record with Panzer accuracy. I will defer judgement until I see a production model.

But you already have made a bold statement already on the subject!

Given that all Toy Soldier manufactures who have made Kingtigers with errors; which errors were the worst in your opinion?

The error in the Figarti prototype was corrected prior to production; I wish other manufacturers would acknowledge and correct their errors. Showing preproduction prototypes to their customers and soliciting feedback would greatly reduce errors IMO.

The only statement I have made about the ED KT is that I look forward to its release and that it will hopefully be more accurate than prior releases by other manufacturers.

The most accurate Kingtigers made to date are diecast and RC models. Toy Soldier collectors seem to
be less demanding of accuracy for some reason. Your 1/16 scale FOV models seem to be relatively accurate; as is the Minchamps. The Dragon prebuilt 1/35 models were very accurate. You have posted photos of these in your collection.

Any JJD aircraft. :smile2: But especially WWII USN, more deck crew figs, you can never have too many. WB limbers with horse teams, Ken has promised these for about 5 yrs. We live to hope. :wink2: The JJD Stug. John Ford charging cavalry. TGM WWII aircraft. ACW charging cavalry. And if most of that were come to pass I'll have to put off my projected retirement date. {eek3} But it would be worth it. Chris
