I only saw this one:
Andanna,

.....glad that everyone is having a good time.
Raymond.

I only saw this one:
Tommy,
It was $795 and it was beautiful. There was a question about whether it was complete but the general consensus was that it was. Ed, from Gettysburg (a real character if there was ever one) had many Trophy sets for sale, all in mint condition. I picked up 4 ACW sets myself.
I have his card and get you his info if you want.
Well this Arab Dhow looked nice but it was not complete : it had only 4 figures instead of 7 and a cannon barrel was "bare metal" instead of correct black one.
I enclosed a picture of its close up.
Al
I feel better now!
Tom
I bet you'll never convince Ed of that
Thanks for the photos and show report Brad. I see some familiar people.
Hi, everyone, good morning! We've just opened for today, and folks are coming in. It's a great show, I'm very happy that I got to meet Louis, Brad, and Tom in person, it was great finally to meet you guys. Wendy Rafalski is here, too, and here's a group picture that we took:
That's Louis, Tom, Brad, George (Warrior) and Wendy, and yours truly kneeling in front.
Other Treefroggers here are Pat Deluhery, and I just ran into Mark (Revwarbuff), as I was on my way back to my room to load more pictures. And I got to meet Erika and Ken Osen in person, and talk about their work, a real treat! They're sharing space with Richard Walker from Britain's, very good to see him again, too, and I'd like to thank Richard and Britain's for their donation of Deetail figures for our younger patrons.
Andreas, Al, and Mike, I'm sorry I missed you guys, and I'd like to thank you all for the pcitures. Andreas, you're right, the Varusschlacht dio is outstanding! I'm curious to see how it will do, when the awards are announced. It was produced by Time Machine Miniatures, by the way--simply outstanding!
I have more photos from yesterday afternoon, which I hope you will enjoy, more "people" pics, to give those who can't be here with us an idea of the activity.
First, here's George and his dad, Chris, and as always, they're busy with their customers:
Here's Noel Schlageter, staff photographer and writer from Old Toy Soldier News. We were competing for shots at this table
Ron Ruddell from London Bridge Collector's Toys, in my neck of the woods, with one of his customers:
Ron is a real gentleman and one of the best dealers in our hobby. He's getting ready to retire, and I know I'll miss seeing him at the shows and at his shop.
Another dealer who's local to me, Ken Russo from Stockade Miniatures in Stroudsburg:
And our past president, and current chairman of the show committee, Arthur Etchells, at his table:
Art is well travelled and find the most interesting pieces, books and other items around the hobby. I'm always astounded by what he brings to the meetings.
Another regular at our show, dealer Tom Litras at his display:
More to follow (have to split the post because of the limit on the number of photos)
