There is a reenactment every year, but not as grand as this year.
I believe there will be 3 panthers this year.

Great photos Guy. Was earlier watching on youtube a video of the vehicles driving through the town. The event certainly has attracted a lot of re-enactors there.

Thanks for the photos, boy in addition to panthers they even had a mk iv and stugs, how many german vehicles were there?

Tremendous amount of authentic armour and vehicles (especially German) there. It makes me wonder why movie directors from previous WW2 movies (with the exception of a few) couldn't obtain or didn't even try to obtain authentic German armour for their movies! The organisers of this event were able to obtain all these vehicles and I'm guessing at minimal cost and without to much drama with permits etc.

I can only imagine what this week celebrating the 75th anniversary of the BOB is being like in the Ardens. Would love to be there joining the events that are taking place. Thanks Guy for showing us what’s going on!

Oh dear, look like the muddy battlefields again, but at least it didn't snow.

Great to see all these vehicles and the re-enactors putting on the show to commemorate this battle from WW2.

thanks for showing us these photos,

John

Thanks very much for sharing, amazing pics and video....just wow :salute::

Very very nice and I wish I were there... Where is the King Tiger :salute:: ?

Guy, thanks for posting these photos, WW2 tanks etc are rarely seen on the roads in Australia. I'm sure the Aussie PC crowd would have a melt down if they saw all those guys in German uniforms.

Thank you to eveyone who posted the photos here. This is fantastic ... no, beyond fantastic.^&grin

I do have a question.

I wonder how to the residents of Foy and surrounding towns feel to see that "horrible" time brought back to life? I doubt there at to many folks that were alive at that time still there, but maybe some children who grew up and now re-live those experiences.
