A Few Photos (1 Viewer)

The AWI range has some of my favorite FL product as well.
I find the uniforms, poses, overall style of the sculpting etc very pleasing to the eye.
To me its a bit like the good looking younger brother of the NAP range.
It also sells at quite a reasonable pace which works out great for me (though perhaps less so for FL).

Some cavalry and artillery for this range surely can't be too far off.

Thanks very much for the photo of Cornwallis. I too think that doing the dogs was a nice touch (I believe it may well have been a suggestion by a forum member).
At the risk of sounding ungrateful though, could you please post a few more photos of him.

Thanks,
Doug

Same with me on the AWI attributes Doug.
I'll take and post some more photos of Cornwallis soon.

Pictures look great. If they don't do them justice then I don't know what does. I'll have to take a closer look at these in person. They look really good.

Thanks.
Most of the fine paint and sculpt detail of the Pteruges is lost in these photos.

The tattered clothing blowing in the wind provides a lot of interest.
Awesome figures.

I really like your style no BS just let the figures do the talking. Clear & crisp your photo's speak volumes about the quality of the figures and the depth or your collection. Excellent stuff as always, love the der Alte Fritz one of my personal favorites that they've done. Regards Gebhard

Thanks!

Yes, as you mention, the quality of the figures is outstanding. I now have some of the NAP, MED, REN, AG, AWI and ROM sets and in each case you can tell a lot of knowledge, thought and research was applied to each ranges’ development.

The sculpting, uniforms, equipment and paint are all exceptional.

Couldn't agree more, I've always said with First Legion it is a case of the more you know about the uniforms and equipment of the times you collect the more your able to appreciate the amount of research that goes into these figures before the sculptor even gets started. The amount of research and development that's put into these figures really shows, we could do thread after thread on just that but this is a great thread as is. Always look forward to seeing what you will present next :salute::. Excellent thread, thanks for taking the time to share its really enjoyable seeing some of the ranges I don't collect. regards Gebhard
