A Few Photos (1 Viewer)

Great photos and collection you do have. Please can you take a photo of the Regimental Flag (blue) especially rear right portion of the flag, the yellow flame on a closer view. Thanks I do appreciate it.

Respectfully,

Thanks.

Closer or close enough?

Great photo of an extremely well done figure. - Just curious, Did you purchase it thru a dealer or direct from First Legion?

When I first started to purchase First Legion I was using a dealer for the first couple of orders and noticed figures were being removed from the boxes to take photos and so started to buy FL direct a couple of years ago I guess it has been. I still buy my JJD from the dealer as other than FL that is about all I buy these days.

I was not happy about this and so they missed some serious sales for FL since then.

Hi thank you for posting this pictures on the Colour Flag. As I requested, please If you can get a more closer picture of the "yellow flame" both front and the reverse side as well. I appreciate it. Thank you.

Respectfully,

Larry

Thank you this is close enough and it shows here how it was painted. You do have a good way of taking pictures on this figures and the amount of light used here just enough to show the highlights and the vibrant colors of the figures uniform. The reason I ask to take pictures on that particular area because of soe of the collectors received this set of having a slight flaw on the painting. Your figure looks great though.

The front view of the flag shows a little bit of a "dead space" between the yellow color and black line...

Yes, and very hard to see with naked eye.
You see it here because the photo is a crop of the original photo so there is a lot of magnification.

Indeed. That was the issue regarding about the painting. I was able to get a picture with a 35 mm lens at a close up view of the figure. I will send you a PM here and show you the pictures I have.

This part of the Yellow on the Flag was repainted, Touched up, as evident by the deep brush marks done by the Lighter Yellow color paint applied here.

From the photo, you can't necessarily infer that large of an area was repainted. Moreover, for those who have had issues (which is a small number), the area that may need touching up is very small.

Remember this is a member sharing his collection, let's not turn it into a bun fight please.

I have no idea what a "bun" fight is but this has been a question of concern for collectors on a recently released item. Are we not allowed to discuss it ^&confuse The discussion has been civil so I see no necessity for your comment. Had it been otherwise, perhaps a different story.

Happily, this seems to have affected only a few people.

Wish you could see the detail and paint in the photos that you can see when they are in front of you - amazing.
