A note from the General Manager... (1 Viewer)

Congratulations Ken . . . As others have said you are a great, and as far as I am concerned, the only logical person to take over in Richard's absence. I must say that your announcement has certainly quelled the angst that I had about the new direction of WB . . . Now I know it will be business as we have grwon to expect over the past 7 years or so . . . . **** the torpedoes and full speed ahead!

Great News! Sad to See Richard leave. But this should be a smooth transition.

I am also sad to hear Richard was leaving. But this is very good news.
Congratulations Ken!! I am very glad for you sir!!

I wish you much success!! I am sure I will be purchasing more Britains ACW figures at the MFCA show this weekend.

Congrats on the new position Ken! One question though. Who's going to keep turning out those wonderful sculpts? {eek3} Chris

Congratulations Ken, hopefully you will still be able to continue with your sculpting as well.

Have not checked TF for 24 hours and everything goes haywire!

Congratulations to your new position, Ken. I think I can hear the sound of champagne bottles being opened at Britains. This is a perfect solution for a problem which initially might have looked unsolvable. Richard was extremely popular - and all for the right reasons.

It would be interesting to know what changes you are envisioning for Britains .....

All the Very Best, Andreas

Congratulation Ken and all the best in your new position.
Best regards
Xavier

Hi Ken
Congratulations to your new position at this iconic Toy Soldier brand.
Without a doubt it was a combined effort of you and Richard to bring this brand back to the top, and it is very assuring to see you as the new general manager, that this brand will keep on going strong.
I just hope that all the administrative tasks will leave room for your creative input for the future.
I am really looking forward to seeing the successful story going on.
All the best!
Konrad

Thanks for all the kind comments!

Ericka and I will be attending the upcoming Texas Show and hopefully we will see a few of you there.

We will also be at the NPS visitors center for the 150th Gettysburg event this July, so if you plan on visiting there make sure you stop and see us.

...And of course we will be at the OTSN Show.

We are still finalizing other show commitments and will keep you posted.

All the Best,
Ken Osen

Well I won't be too sad at Mr Walkers departure.
Most Plastic collectors have long ago given up on WBritains, even after the fine words about new plastic ranges.

I very much doubt that anything will change in this area

Always so much negativity. Richard along with Ken has done great things with the company in a short amount of time. I think Britains is the best it has been for a long time. Britains hasn't had any new plastic for almost 20 years, I think it is time to let it go.

Plastic figures saved Britains - plastic figures kept Britains going for 30 years, like it or not, the new owners promised new plastic ranges...nothing.
