Hello All,

For those of you that may not already know me, my name is Ken Osen and I have been the master sculptor for W. Britain since 1st Gear acquired the company in 2006. I would like to announce that I have recently taken the position as General Manager and Creative Director of this great toy soldier company.

I have felt very lucky to be part of the creative team here and feel confident that we shall continue to bring more of the great products you have come to expect from us. We are just wrapping up the next catalog and Standard and I can promise you that there are some great additions to our ranges coming your way soon.

I will continue to post here as I always have, keeping you up to date on shows, special events and new products. As always, feel free to contact me here on the Treefrog Forum or at W. Britain.

Hope to see some of you at the Texas show soon!

All the Best,
Ken Osen
General Manager/Creative Director
W. Britain

Congratulations on your new position. I have always admired your work and look forward to what's ahead. Hope to meet you in Texas in a couple of weeks.

Ken,
Wonderful news of your new position and no one deserves it more than you do! Richard will be missed indeed, but I am glad to hear someone close will be taking over. I look forward to the MANY wonderful years ahead as a Britians collector. Blessings to you and your family.

Best,
Cameron

Congratulations Ken.

Does this affect your participation in Hudson & Allen?

Brad

Ken,
Thank goodness and congratulations on the promotion! I was so worried that W Britain might be in for dark days, but with you taking the helm I now know that there are only good things to come. While we will all miss Richard, we know that with you we are still in good hands.
Best,
Josh Osborne

No one better to fill the spot! If only we could somehow clone you, so you could make more things...^&grin

We might have to clone you Ken, seems a big job ahead, but I reckon your passion for this hobby will see you right. Good luck, the forum is behind you.:salute::, Robin.

Congratulations Ken,

No intended disrespect to the former GM of WBritain, but IMHO this honor that has been bestowed upon you has been long over due. Wishing you the best of luck in your new position.

Shane

Congratulations Ken

You are the ideal choice to carry on the W. Britain tradition of excellence in the field of military miniatures.

All my best to you and Ericka. Will you guys be moving to Iowa?

Randy
