I recently worked on my first ever winter diorama and wanted to share it with everyone here.

I love these new AWI figures and I'm so thankful to Matt for making these fine pieces!! There aren't many AWI figures manufactured for a winter scene and I hope there will be more.

Amazing, little lone first time effort for this type of scene. The terrain is very believable. Robin.

Excellent scene and set up Mark it looks great! Those are beautiful figures too.

This scene is right out of the book Washington's Crossing and the Battle of Trenton. Wonderful figs and perfect terrain and background. Maybe the best AWI I've seen. Chris

Very well done! In the interim before FL produces some Hessian adversaries you can use JJD Hessians from the Saratoga series. If you are a purist it only takes a little touch up of paint to show the action at Trenton.

Very nicely executed at all levels Mark. Very enjoyable to view. Thank you for sharing with us.

These are the best AWI diorama photos together with Mike‘s FL Grenadiers from awhile back. But here, the snow makes it special. And the figures improved substantially sincere grenadiers.

There are so many details in the photos, it is a shame it is just a Setup for a photo opportunity. Perhaps the concept for a shadow box is born?

Either way, this is a great piece of toy soldier art and I will save it in my collection. Thank you, Mark.

Mark,

Outstanding diorama. you really made the struggle very real. Perhaps my favorite campaign; strategy and risk oriented. You make it very tempting to enter into this series.

Thank you very much Andreas.....you're a true friend and I appreciate your comments!

Don't forget that it was you who provided me with some of your extra snow on my last visit.

Oh my those pictures are really stupendous!!! I showed them to my wife this am and her and I were both amazed.

We get to Brandywine and Valley Forge a couple times a year in the summer for baseball tournaments. This sort of puts VF in perspective.

Great work!!!
