Hi Guys,

Here’s some pix of the latest Warbird from our Philippine Workshop…the mighty Junkers ’88 and it’s a real beauty!

Our K&C Ju. 88 is in the markings of KG30 which operated air attacks on Crete and Malta during May and June 1941. Ship “kills” are painted on the aircraft’s rudder.

The overall paint-finish is typical two-tone green camouflage of that period of the war…

Hope you like it…Just 3 are available…

Best wishes and happy flying!
Patrick

There are two more Junkers to come out, a Desert and a Winter.

That is one beautiful model. Always loved the JU-88. Really nice paint, too. I am envious of those that will get this one. -- Al

How does one know how much and where to buy one?

Mark,

Go to the K & C website. There are others listed on there besides this one, in different price ranges. This one is $1,095. Shipping is additional. K & C ships overnight mail, which I think makes sense; the shorter it's in transit, the less chance of damage. To the east coast, it tends to come out to $90 or so, I think. California may be cheaper. Of course, when you're paying that much anyway, $20 or $30 in savings is probably the last thing you're thinking about.

If you get one of the Warbirds, you'll see what a work of art it is. It's hard to really appreciate one until you've held it in your hands, IMHO :)

Well, that didn't take long. According to the KC website, all three JU-88 summer versions are already sold. It is a great looking aircraft. Congrats to whoever got them. -- Al

My sources also told me that the Winter and Desert versions are also sold out. Guess I don't have to worry about trying to figure out how to afford one

These planes are simply amazing cant wait to see winter version
Hopefully some polystone versions will follow

Dear K&C:

The new Junkers 88 looks splendid!

Possibly one of the best german aircraft of WWII will this become one of the polystone releases??

I'm also hoping Andy may one day make this and the Bolton Paul Defiant for the Polystone range,I think they would be great additions to the series.

Rob

These large planes are not going to be produced in polystone. It is too difficult to safely produce and ship aircraft of this size in polystone. The material is brittle, and polystone cannot sustain the weight of that large an aircraft.

If K&C is going to mass produce a larger aircraft, it would have t change material to resin or plastic.
