Absolutely spectacular, Bernard!!:cool::cool::cool: As you know, you've hooked me! I am after all 7 of Stadden's WWII Allied figures.:p

That is some fine pieces you have there. Remarkable!!!
Mitch

Great close ups. The figures cover the whole war with Bull Run 1861 Louisiana Tigers to the 1863 Black Gunner and Grant as the 1864-65 Commander. The "queen" as a female figure was chucked as an idea I see. The choice of the 1864 New Jersey "Butterflies" and General Custer as knight is pretty good.

WOW !!!!!!

That is an amazing group of figures Bernard. Now hurry up and get it all set up and take a couple snaps for us. :D:D:D

Yo Bernard! :D Probably the best set in your collection! I would also like to see the complete set, is there a board to go with it and where are you going to display this?

Yo Jeff, haven't got my head around it yet, you put it beautifully the other day "Its the dogs Bo----ks" got to be careful dont want another infraction:eek:. Its got so many documents with it, but one does say from the Stadden factory that a chess board coloured the same as the two Armies will be sent after the set has been purchased. So it doesn't have a board but I do have a great Chess Table bought at a car boot Italian style. BUT it wont be going on display on the table, not with my little wrecker around:eek:. Going to put all the specifications up tomorrow the Mahogany box must weigh 20/30 pounds needs two to lift it its 27" x 22" x 6". Took five days it says to paint each piece. Has a certificate from "The Worshipful Company of Pewters" and they Commend the the Pewterer for their skills and quality of Material, and has their touch mark the "Seahorse" which has been linked with them since the 16th Century. Its the Dogs Bol---ks lol:D.
Bernard.

Awesome set Bernard, as you know, I have single pieces, but that is impressive!

Yo Bob, First you have been looking at to many of Jeffs post. GREEN with envy in your case should be GREY lol. Second haven't got a clue what I am doing in your War:confused: Took the Light Brigade onto the Battlefield, there were cannons to the left of us with guys in Grey uniforms, cannons to the right of us with guys in Blue uniforms, so I turned around and said to the lads who do you want to Charge. They came back with looks like an internal dispute nothing to do with us, so we retired from the field and came home, never lost a man:D.
