As Dandy says, "It's show time." It's the season finale and it is just about what I expected, except for the wedding.:wink2: I didn't think Dandy was going to enjoy the honeymoon.:rolleyes2: The writers tied all the lines up pretty neatly, Dandy, Elsa, and the freaks. And Halloween. Very neatly done. I have been wondering the whole season if any of the cast was going to survive to the end. -- Al

The finale started a bit slow but old Dandy took care of that. Shoot first and ask no questions later was his motto. Apparently arbitration with disgruntled employees was not his mangement style. A man of action. Jessica Lange had a lesser role in this season but a very strong end with her character. And even Twisty made a brief appearance. Overall I thought this was a stronger season than the third one.

"Family, fans and friends are mourning the death of Ben Woolf, an actor from the most recent season of "American Horror Story," who died on Monday in Los Angeles.
Woolf played the character of Meep, a dwarf who only spoke with one word, on "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that he had been hit by a car's side mirror in an accident on Thursday night in Hollywood.
The actor, who was diagnosed with pituitary dwarfism, was sent to the hospital that night, and reportedly stabilized over the weekend before passing Monday afternoon, according to TMZ."

The new season started this week with many of the usual actors. Episode one was great. Lily Rabe is a hoot as some type of blood sucking writer. And that bizarre "Islands in the Stream" duet was wild. Hard to miss with alien vampires and sea creatures running wild. My favorite part of episode one had to be the guy bashing the brains out of a blood sucker in his living room and then just going about his usual business the next day as though that was a perfectly normal event.

Just watched the first two episodes; the first half of the first one grabbed me until I figured out exactly what was going on...................meh, not a fan of the plot line, but now it looks like it's going into a bizzaro world angle next...............so I'll ride it out and see where it goes..............

Took the words right out of my mouth; season two did it for me.............and yes, this show starts out well and then comes off the rails...................halfway through episode two, that is how I feel already...................I thought it was going in a certain direction, then did the opposite, not a fan of the plot, next weeks episode with aliens looks like bizarro world personified.....................

Absolutely, loved that season..........................I liked the concept of the 80's slasher camp as that was my introduction to a twisted love affair with horror movies that I have to this day..................but man did that plot get goofy............................still enjoyed that season though.

I've been watching the old Dark Shadows show on Tubi. That show was well for before its time. A campy and fantastic romp. It reminds me a bit of AHS just with a modern update on the violence and gore. You take the good with the bad. When it's good it's really good, and when it's bad it falls to pieces. Lily Rabe is an absolute hoot. She is out vamping Jessica Lange, which didn't seem possible. This season is some type of double show with two story lines. So it will transition to another related story at some point.
