The diorama looks terrific!:salute:: You might want to consider adding some Hudson & Allen forest floor debris (basically tiny fallen leaves) to really give it an autumn feeling.
Thanks Steve and Louis for the compliment and the tip. I had 'crunched up" some real leaves with a grinder but I thought real leaves at the bottom of look a like leaves in the tree would look "odd." However, I have not tried it. I love the real shapes. Maybe bare trees with a few leaves and the rest on the ground would work. Thank you again for the tip.Steve, Louis
Assuming you want scale detail you can make your own with these Die cutters

They do other leaf shapes die's too e.g. Maple leaf
Great diorama by the way Steve ! :salute::

Steve,
Man, this is fabulous!! The whole set up is well done and the fall colors really make things pop!
As the others have commented already, the beaver dams are quite an ingenious idea and very appropriate given the fur trade and how beaver pelts would have played a big part in that.
Are the trees from JG Miniatures?
Great work and thanks for sharing!!
