And So It Begins . . . Snow! (1 Viewer)

I say let it snow as long as I don't have to travel in it. We have had a mild Fall in old PA but it seems to be transitioning this week to winter.

Snow always looks so nice, and as long as you don't actually have to go out in it Beautiful !

Forecasts have been promising Snow all day, but it's failed to materialise, but then it is still only November, so plenty of time yet !

1-2 inches here with high winds.
Most of the flowers in our gardens actually made it this far. No further...
Enjoy the snow if you are healthier than me,
Paddy

Yeah, I much prefer Spring and Summer, especially not now suffering Hay fever for almost forty years, it was a horrid time with it for sure ! Snow is great for kids though.

I never minded as a kid. And I will still be glad if Christmas is white. But, in general, hotter is nicer (to a point).

Yep, The Continentals as in France and Germany, Austria etc seem fine with their snow being a crisper kind of Snow, here it pretty much turns into soggy sludge most of the time soon as it touches down. A son of a 'birch', driving or walking when frozen into ice, black or otherwise and not much better when it's just slush ! And having been born into it at a time when Ambulances had a hard time of it, I feel fine in 'Birching', I don't know should be a T instead of an R in places here !

Flurrying here in PA right now, but it's still too warm for any accumulations. Temperatures are in the low 40s. It'll go back over to rain through the day, and for tomorrow the forecast is clear and around 50. A good fall day for a round of golf.

Prost!

Still waiting for a full week without going over 80 degrees at least once in Southwest Texas.

It has been almost 8 months and I do not mean that in a good way.

Speak for yourself!!! :) I would be happy never to see 40 degrees again!

The cold weather brings a beautiful feeling of calm. That said, 4 months would be enough for me - and sometimes we get 7.
Happy shoveling for we Northerners and Happy AC-off for the South.
