Announcing a New 1/30n Scale Manufacturer (1 Viewer)

We got back from vacation yesterday to find a very fine sample by TGM on Shannon's desk...there may be more than 2 US dealers :)

Thanks fellas for the support and welcome! I have ulterior motives, of course that are similar to Damian's. After being order #4, I presume I will be able to effectively penetrate the Gunn inner circle, wait until the time is right...and pounce on Thom and Blake with the Victorian ideas!!! Brilliant!

Hmmm....now isn't that a rather brilliant idea?
I have to admit that I would welcome some sets depicting "Victoria's Little Wars" from Mister Gunn, especially if the sheer class of this first release could be translated to the 19th Century.
Over to you TGM.....

PS. Mongol Empire...!!!!, ummm, puleeze.

I've been in contact with this guy for a while and he's a great guy!:D

Why thank you Mister Arnhem. :)

Oh, you were meaning TGM...??? Oh well, there was me thinking you were referring to Yours Truly....:eek:

Yup, the Normandy FJ set ought to fit in extremely well with your other figures.

Cheers

Whatever happened to the fourth soldier with the eye-patch? At the TG Website it shows 4 figures but when you clicked on to it, the order page will only show 3 figures and the description also says 3 figure set.

Hi Harry
What a great introduction to TGM yesterday - Although I'v not alot of interest in the two World Wars his figures look great, so much I will have a set just for the hell of it. I'm still having problems with joining his "Gunn Club"
but Tom made the effort to contact me and hopefully rectify the problem today. I only hope he will stick to 1/30n scale and not change scale as and when the mood dictates like with other manufacturers. As for other time periods bring it on - As I have said before I'm not a collector of WW series (best of luck to those who do) but a change is as good as a rest - There's a great big historical world out there - John Jenkins proved that - what would your oppinion of say The English Civil War as an example????? Do you know if Tom produces his own models or are they produced in Hong Kong or can he claim to be BRITISH MADE?

I was told the figure with the eyepatch is from the next set.

I understand the concerns here, but trust me on this, we're talking about a legit company, I am looking at the proof now right in front of me in the form of the first set.

As I said in the other thread, these figures are wonderful, a welcome addition to WWII collecting, you will all be very pleased should you decide to venture into this companies offerings.

These figures will be coming to a show near you courtesy of Minutemen Toy Soldiers, so stay tuned........

I spoke to George and pre-ordered one of the desert sets this evening, while I was having dinner with Hans at Bryant & Cooper Steak House. They look too good to pass on at this price.:cool:

Those figures are awesome. Looks like I will be selling more items on ebay.

Btw:DWhat does the term 'Twice Removed' Mean?:eek::eek:

2nd cousin twice removed:D

Btw:DWhat does the term 'Twice Removed' Mean?:eek::eek:

For purposes of the English (and transplanted American) intestacy laws, a first cousin is someone whose direct ancestor is a grandparent. The children of one of these first cousin are first cousins once removed to the other first cousin. The grandchildren of the same first cousin are first cousins twice removed to the other first cousin.

Second Cousins are persons whose direct ancestor is a great grandparent. The children of one first cousin are second cousins of the children of the other second cousin. Get the distinction: The child of one first cousin is a first cousin once removed to the other other first cousin, but the second cousin of the children of the other first cousin.
