Any news on Conte? (1 Viewer)

I just went to the Conte Site.
I clicked on ten different items.
None of those ten are available.

The website is more of a Museum of what once was!.........Conte still gets my cash though just recently spent $$$ in his Ebay shop.
His older ACW metal sets are as good as anything new on the market today....and im still buying the ACW blisters 10 years on!

I got all three Conte Civil War sets I'm trying to unload, plus some extra pewter pieces and blisters, not many blisters but three or four.

Had very brief interaction with RC about 8 days ago. So most certainly alive. :smile2:

Thanks for the offer ED....I take it you mean the Playsets I all ready have the Pewter figures from those sets and not to sure if I really want the big foam pieces at this stage.

RC E-mailed me a few weeks back.Said all was well.He just shipped out 150 orders.What did I want?(Plastic G.I.s!)Out of stock.However I have bid on "out of stock and won'G.I.s on his beaugeste E-Bay site.Hope this helps .

I suspect it'll only be metal. He used to complain quite strongly about the cost of plastic 15 years ago. It'd be way more now. So too though is metal....

Low production quantity , high quality output is the way forward.

Plastic production is totally the reverse.

I received some info on Contes "Return from the death tour" That he will be doing 3 all new plastic playsets, Iwo Jima, Battle of the Bulge & The Marines at Khe Sanh.
Pretty good source on this.

That's some great news. Hopefully these items become a reality. Maybe then some of the "Conte Bashing" will stop.
All three of those playsets sound like winners. Unpainted metal figures would be great!
