Sorry but that is totally wrong. Do I have the ignorance to go over to FL's thread and wind them up? If you've read the thread NO ONE has said legitimate debate and criticism is not welcome, bur AGAIN there is a difference between that and an open anti K&C agenda. IN THEIR OWN AREA of the forum.

Empty criticism and empty praise. Worth nothing and bound to incite.

Too many comments like these are the best or not worth the money with no comment as to why the poster has that opinion. And no balance to the comments - everything is perfect or everything is awful.

There are many manufacturer's who offer products with different levels of detail, quality of sculpting, quality of painting and weathering, scale accuracy vs durability, levels of historical accuracy, character, price differences and so on. No model can possibly be all things to all collectors so comments like it's the best (no reason given) or it's not worth the price (high, middle or low) are pure crap and not worth reading (IMO) And when the same crap comments are constantly repeated, it's offputting and causes people to tune out entirely.

I guess the rising cost of the hobby across the board has also contributed. I also guess that it's inevitable that peopl just move on or their hobby tastes change. I think a lot of people are not posting at the moment as there not been a lot of new release coming out, + I think the same old posts with I know best & I'm always right threads are boring . for me I'm happy going to pick up my K&C Elefant tank tomorrow & got K&C Austin coming in the post so the hobby is still fun for me ^&grin

That may be part of it, but I have had PM discussions over the past few months with formerly regular posters who have cut back or stopped entirely. Louis Badolato has said so in a recent post. Northgate Woods has posted the same. Njja has virtually disappeared. and there are several others on this side of the Atlantic who have cut back.

I know I'm not posting near as much as usual...friends have even told me that I have even become quiet on the forum...

there's a select group of people or collectors...that are pushing me away with their continual comparisons of their collections as being superior than anything else on the market in their opinion...I just get tired of reading the same sentence over and over and over again by the same guys...

"In my opinion...they are the best figures on the market"...blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...you would think they would get tired of saying it...

but honestly...they are entitled to say that...nothing wrong with a little loyalty...

but the continual comparisons demeaning other manufacturers is what really irks me...I hate when they drag other manufacturers down...it's so unclassy...

it just reminds me of the "My Dad can beat up your Dad" schoolyard yapping...
