Well...Michael Miller insists that I don't actually own any toy soldiers as I haven't posted many photos...fair enough. I find it difficult to actually pick up the camera and shoot because there always seems to be something more to work on...figures, scenics, etc. So I just bit the bullet and took a few snaps...the diorama is obviously still in progress. I was going to post these on the Napoleonics Corner, but I thought perhaps there were just too many pics to post there...so here we go...

You didn't think it was over already did you?!! Here are some more...some taken through the wood as the French advance.

All this action, and that French sapper still finds time to chop down a tree!

Last couple...

Note on the pieces...Hougoumont is by JG, figures include K&C, Collector's Showcase, Britains, Del Prado, Black Cat castings, All the King's Men castings, and a few home cast.

Truely Outstanding with a lot of patience work. Your dealer must love you.
I now know the reason I don't collect Naps, too many multiples required.
The Land Downunder salutes you.
Cheers Howard

Thanks Howard, but who uses a dealer? I just swipe them off George's (Warrior's) table at the shows! :)

First time I've seen this used in someone's collection - outstanding display!

Very nice, the house is incredible, did you built from scratch?

Good job

Really nice looking scenes mate. Is that the JG House, Barn and Wall set? Your dealer (George?) must indeed love you.:D

Now that you have started, please keep them coming.

Holy Moses  Nicholas-now that's what I call a real diorama and one helluva collection-Stunningly superb and a brilliant lay-out

No doubt poor old Michael will now have to eat his words:D

Wonderful photos. It gives the impression of a moon lit evening. And Michael Miller will not be claiming your cupboard's empty anymore. Then again, maybe these are you neighbour's army. :D

Thanks for getting the camera out.

WOW thats just off the charts .......10/10 and a Koala stamp for you!

Don't fall for his tricks you guys...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

It's all done with only 13 figures...
it's the old "smoke and mirrors gimmick"...
a whole lot of smoke and a whole lot of mirrors...
trick photography I tell you...:D:D:D

Nick...

Wow...we gotta discuss beefing up the legs on your table...

there's got to be some definite "structural damage" there...

that's a lot of metal on that table...

I'm glad you finally broke down and gave us a peek...

it was worth waiting for...

if my "whining" is all it took to get you to pick up the camera...

I'm gonna start crying about all the unfinished projects you have told me you are procrastinating on...

while you got the camera out...how about a few more pics..

your diorama is a collector's dream...

I bet the "domino effect" is devastating when it happens...

I see why you needed the birch platforms...

GREAT JOB MY MAN...I will never call you a fake again...;)

now that's how you do Napoleonics !!!!!!

Fantastic Nicholas and thanks for sharing your amazing collection with us.

That is absolutely amazing, best Napoleonics diorama I think I've ever seen - Wow :D:cool:
