Hi Guys,

Here are the last of the ‘Master Sculpts’ seen in Europe recently...
Among the figures shown here are the “Battle of Long Tan Set #2” and the ANZAC Special Forces set of three figures along with the standing solo SAS figure holding the Sterling SMG.

Hope you like them... Best Christmas wishes!
Andy

Not a fan of the Rambo look on the SASR trooper don't get it at all.

A little conversion for Obee Wayne and all is well^&grin Robin.

I'd like to see the painted version first, I hope all hands, faces and exposed skin ( great to see sleeves down :) ) is covered with camouflage cream, then the sweat rag around the head will look OK.

I also hope they are wearing can clothing, Tiger Suits (black stripes) or US gear because I've seen pics of these 'Phantoms of the Jungle' dressed like that.

Thanks for these photos John, I also hope to see some camo on the new Aussie SAS figures and I reckon the Rambo look is terrific.

Great figures and will of course be used in a Long Tan dio I plan using Sets #1 and #2.
A question Andy, will the SAS figures be painted in Camo uniforms?

Yes mate! All the ANZAC Special Forces will be in various camo uniforms as evidenced in your photos...Thanks also to the other positive 'responders'.
Best Christmas wishes,
Andy.

About the Rambo look, i think is taken from a Osprey book by the title " Britain's Secret War" ...i think Andy is a great artist but sometimes he draws inspiration from the beautful Osprey books! Nothing wrong and i love this aspect! Kevin Lyles is a great illustrator :) The figures are outstanding, and i can't wait to see them painted.

No doubt I'll be adding these two sets to my collection, but can we please have a third Long Tan set with more Prone Riflemen Andy ?

Treated myself to the Aussie Centurion for Christmas and have to say it's fantastic. Very well done to you Andy and the K&C team and of course Howard for pursuing his dream.

Will do some dioramas with it as time permits over Christmas / New Year.

2020 is shaping up to be the year of Aussie’s in Vietnam for me, can’t wait. There is enough in the pipeline to keep very satisfied for a long time. Wondering what will run out first, money or space{eek3} Robin.

Plenty of room here mate if you want to move anything on lol

Very cool Andy, love the ANZAC theme being expanded in this range too! :salute::

Can't wait to get me grabby mitts on that gun team.

The Australian and New Zealand in Vietnam series is superb .

The Sterling SMG ? the Australians developed the the F1 the idea the F1 was to replace the older Owen . The new SMG was to take the best of the Sterling and Owen and come up with a better weapon . The trouble it was a nortorious Sub machine carbine and hated by most . It was made in Lithgow using common components to the L1 Ai SLR this was to reduce the cost . developed in the 60's the SMG was used up until the 90's but in a support role not on the front line .

One thing I would ask of you if possible is to make some accessories packs with spare small arms , packs and water bottles , also with the forth coming 105mm Howiter shells spent and live . The ask which has been mentioned before prone riflemen for the battle of Long Tan . T

Andy I can only compliment You and your designers . for teh new range and aslo the Roman Artillery

Many thanks Damian for your appreciative comments and suggestions...K&C are presently working on a pile of 'fresh' shells for the 105 plus discarded empty shell cases and a possible sandbag emplacement.
I also just finished the design and artwork for the ANZAC Artillery Set box. Will post later.
Best Christmas wishes,
Andy.

Always appreciate intel Andy, lets my imagination run over time and provides a source of excitement for things to come. Really pleased you are investing so much into this series. Robin.

Thankyou Robin...Good intel is always important to both collector and manufacturer and certainly helps us all plan ahead
.
I am somewhat bemused that only a rare few of us makers ever make use of this forum (and the other one0 to share our thoughts, suggestions, comments and ideas with and for the collectors.

Oh well, such is life...Hope you and the Missus have yourselves a merry little Christmas!
All the best,
Andy.
