Aussies On Patrol (2 Viewers)

Was never going to collect anything beyond 1945 Steve, but I have made a exception with these, as like you I find they are very appealing. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Robin.

A few figures worth breaking the rule for and I think Andy has said there will a few more to join them on patrol towards the end of the year. Of course a few combat poses would go amiss either ! :wink2:

Some VC that will not cause a problem. Robin.

Looks good Robin ! The Patrol commander is going to want someone to check them out, to collect the weapons and make sure it's not a VC trap.
Perhaps Andy will consider doing a figure doing such !

Nice one Robin!
Two of the 'men in black' bite the dust and the Aussie patrol moves forward...Look out for four more reinforcements coming soon...
All the best guys and greetings from San Antonio, Texas.
Andy.

Always need reinforcements Andy. Sort of hoping you were home by now, so this has more of a chance of happening. Guess if you go all the way to the States you need to make the most of it. Keep safe. Robin.

Ps, unfortunately one of the men in black is a woman.

Great cinematic scene Robin! I enjoy how much you enjoy your soldiers and set ups! I'm really diggin' on those Aussies...really nice figures and brought to life so well by your work. Thanks for sharing these fine photos!

You're totally correct Robin...One of the k.i.a. is indeed a female...and no less dangerous for that!
This past week here in the 'States has shown plenty of evidence of that.
All the best and happy collecting,
Andy.

The rest of the Patrol arrives to offer further support and soon to be backed up by a M113. What a great series Andy. Robin.

Robin mate,
Just brilliant cobber. Looks like a scene from the movie "The Odd Angry Shot".
Cheers Howard:salute::

Your new Aussies look great Robin and the M113 will bring some additional firepower !

Steve

One of your best mate, well posed and conveys the tension well, nicely done.

Very well done Robin...Once again my friend, you do us proud!
Half of the huge pleasure I get from designing and producing K&C figures is seeing what creative uses great collectors such as yourself do with those figures and fighting vehicles once you have them in your own collections...Truly amazing and inspirational.
All the very best,
Andy.

And the fighting goes on. Robin.

Oh dear ……. the patrol bunched up on the bridge …. BAD Tactics :(

John

RAR infantry would never do that the drill is one at a time the rest cover and you cross swiftly but apart from that I like it

Nice idea adding a few more accessories Robin. I think you may end up having to have a larger diorama base with all these Aussies and their Armour on it's way in the next few months !

Wayne,

I know that you would know the 'correct drill' … maybe send Robin the 'Training Pam' on Jungle Warfare, if you kept one ??

John

Wayne,

just found a 'Training Pam from 1970 called "THE ENEMY" amongst my memorabilia ………..

The one details the forces that we expected to find in Vietnam at that particular time.

and inside this page showing an Ambush, just like what Robin is depicting with his diorama.

It makes interesting reading in retrospect ……….
