I made a couple of dioramas for my JJD Aztecs/Conquistadors...
I only have one mounted Conquistadors and one Monk...
so they are pretty busy being used over and over to fight all these Aztecs...^&grin
but I'm sure reinforcements are on the way...

on the large diorama...
I made a beach coastline...
with 2 paths to stage figures...
and a small muddy pond in the palm trees...

on the small diorama...
I made a muddy pond with a backdrop of foliage and a few palm trees...

Mike, those pics are REALLY slick. You've got such a great eye for integrating complimentary colors into your terrain, and the environment translates perfectly when the figure sets go down on the display. NICE!

Very crreative and well done. In my opinion, some of the plastic plants could benefit from a brown wash.

Looks great Mike! You did your usual wonderful job in making the base and the trees.

Putting those Aztecs in there really makes their color pop.

Stunning scenery in all the different dioramas. Looks like you couldn't quite make up your mind which setting to go for hence the varied presentations. Hope there is going to be enough figures to fill the scenes. Then again some could be used for other series. Regards Greg.

You have built a great home for this series Mike. The vast amount of colours for the figures will go nicely in this jungle setting. Look forward to when you even up the sides. Robin.

Mike,
I really like the way you created the foliage. I'm surprised you only bought one mounted Conquistador.

Steve

Nicely done Michael . . . Great looking palm trees . . .
:smile2: Mike

They both look great diorama bases Mike and well done on the painting / dry brushing etc with the plants, quite exceptional what you've done with the palm trees.
Well done mate !

Steve

Looks Awesome Mike! Great dio. Where did you get all of those different plants?
Thanks for sharing,
Joe

Very impressive! I've always liked the results of your modelling skills - doesn't matter what the subject is. Well done Mike. {bravo}}

Greg...you as a heavy collector...know I will outgrow this diorama in a year...hahaha...thank you!

We like the plants & wonder what's the best way to get some of our own...

I got almost all the plants in bulk on Ebay...
the China market for railroad/aquarium foliage is VERY CHEAP...
but it takes 2-3 weeks for them to arrive...

on Ebay do a search for railroad or aquarium foliage or plants...

I sprayed them with different shades flat green...

Pet Smart also has a large selection on stock...
most of these pics I posted cost $2 to $4 per batch there...
they are very cheap...

Way to go Mike. Those pet shop ones are cheap for the number you get. Robin.
