Looks like the Angels may be taking a hit; Josh Hamilton fell off the wagon and reportedly took cocaine and other drugs. He could be looking at an 80 game suspension. In addition, you have to wonder whether the Angels might wish to void his contract since it probably contains clauses requiring him to stay sober.

Read a story yesterday that there is a new rule this year; in between pitches, the batter cannot fully step out of the batters box, he has to keep at least one foot inside the box.

You will be fined for each incident, I forget the amount, it's either 50.00 or 500.00.

David Ortiz will run out of money if it's 500.00 per incident.

How about if you don't allow pitchers to fart around for an hour and a half between pitches too; don't let them step off the rubber...................

Pitching sucked all around for the O's and hardly any starters on offense but hoping tomorrow will bring better results with a few more starters playing...Sammy

I've read the Yankees have a phenom in camp this year, a virtual unknown who has come out of nowhere.

The kid has been pitching lights out so far, he's actually in the running as the opening day starter.

The kid has a weird name though; "Pitching machine."

Met's Matt Harvey looked real good today in his first start off of TJ surgery. Went 2 innings and hit 99mph. Glad to see it. -- Al
