Hope they're no Rockies fans on here but their TV broadcasting team is terrible.

The Rockies actually have a TV broadcasting team?

Gee, you learn something new everyday.

Must be two Rockies legends like.............well there's.......................must be............................could be.......................

Sorry, I'm drawing a blank.

Nats finally scored a few runs last night in Colorado (you know, where gravity is 1/6 that of the rest of the US). In fact, they scored 15 runs, the most they have put up all season, and 3 more than the previous 6 games combined. Hope they saved some for the next 2 games out there.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Don't be shocked if they only score two or three tonight. Always seems to work out that way.

The principal team is someone named Drew Goodman and George Frazier. 0 enthusiasm level. I could have been listening to play by play of a funeral.

There you go, two household names...............:rolleyes2:

Well in fairness to them, I don't think you can get too amped up over Rockies baseball, no doze is probably a staple in that broadcasting booth.

Speaking of broadcasters, those just for men beard dye commercials with Hernandez and Frazier are something else; Walt still looks great, God bless him, Hernandez looks like he's put on 10 or 70 pounds since his playing days ended, half of it in his face.

What a train wreck he is.................

Don't know who Goodman is but I remember George Frazier as a LHP back in the 80's. His main claim to fame was with the NYY's in the 1981 WS when he became the only pitcher in MLB history to lose 3 games in a 7 game series (and as a relief pitcher, at that). Other than that he had a pretty undistinguished 10 year career. -- Al

Those are fighting words. We don't take too kindly too any negative comments towards Keith, who is a very good analyst.

I started listening to other teams' broadcasting teams to see how they compared to the Mets' Gary Cohen, Ron Darling and Keith. Other than the likes of Vin Scully, Gary Thorne or Jon Miller, nobody can hold a candle to the Mets broadcast team.

His analyst skills are not in question; his eating choices on the other hand........................:wink2:

In other news, the Sox have hired Dave Dombrowski as they president of baseball operations, Ben Cherington as GM is out.

Thank Christ.

Great move John Henry; memo to Dave.................GET RID of Ramirez, he is awful, an absolute train wreck in left field. While you at ship, ship Sandoval out of town too, he sucks.

Two horrible free agent signings by Cherington in the off season.

See if anyone is dumb enough to take either one.

Or both.

The problem I have with Dombrowski, is that he seemed to go out of his way to screw the Tigers as he left them with the Price trade for nobody, when the team was only 3 games out of the wildcard..I know a few Tiger fans that would like to see him sued..Michael

Jon Miller is the best. Unfortunately the Giants also have Mike Kruwkow who is one of the worst.

Jon Miller is far and away the best out there, he's spectacular.................

George:

He is really great and we are lucky to have him here in SF. His knowledge of the game along with his voice make him one of the best in the game. He is also not afraid to call the Giants management and team out when they make mistakes which seems to be a rare commodity among "home team" broadcasters nowadays.

Bullpen will be this team's undoing. Of course, five innings out of Syndergaard, who has not been good on the road (0-4), won't cut it either :( Onto Colorado.

I'll take the split and be happy with it!!! we finally beat the Amazing Mets this year!!!...Sammy

Not just this year Sammy. Until tonight, the Mets had been 9-0 against the Orioles.

Will wonders never cease? Nats actually made up a game on the Mets tonight, thanks to Strasburg, Werth, and an O's walk-off Hr. First time the Nats have won 2 games in a row this month. -- Al
