Very realistic Mitch, you have captured the scene very well
just look at one of the pics taken early 1945 of the fields where the massacre took place

Very realistic and a creative use of the figures. A very depressing dio, as it should be. -- Al

Scenes like this have to be shown.....I know some frown upon it......But it has to be shown....Good work

A sad scene, no doubt, as no doubt very creative and well executed too!

A very nice handling of a difficult and sensitive subject. It is always a tough decision as whether or not to show fatalities in any diorama. My AWI Bunker Hill would lose a great deal if I didn’t have injured or dead British as well as American troops. I have always felt it was a dishonor to those who fell, not to show the sacrifice they made.
Well done Mitch!
Larry

Yeah well done mate....... a difficult subject to display and capture, but well done.

I was asked what I used as casualties for this diorama. Here are a couple of pics showing what they were in differing stages of completion. The discerning will be able to see which K&C figures I used to create moulds to make plaster casts. They did not have to be perfect as they are getting winterised and covered in icy sparkles and then snow.

It does show that those who want casualties for dio purposes can easily do this themselves with some existing figures.

Hope it helps
Mitch
