I don't know over their but here in Australia kids get away with blue murder and it boils down to one thing no responsibility for their actions,they know that adults can't discipline them police can't not even parents a good clip around the ear when I was young put me back in line and wouldn't hurt nowadays.
This is a sad story little pricks need a good clip and take responsibility for their actions and parents for their children.

It will only get worse here in Aust as the politically correct push the line that children under age of 16 don't fully understand right and wrong and therefore children under 16 can't go into Jail maybe conselling and where their victmns must apologise for hurting their feels when they were caught.

Kids aren't stupid if they know there are no consequences to their actions they will do as they like

the only certainty I get out of this sad episode is that most likely these boys - now unimpeachable - will later find in their lives either a prison cell or a grave in a cemetery, since their inclination towards crime is very strong, almost incorrigible...

There is a simple solution to this, I would treat the kids to great bodily injury much like they destroyed the models. In other words, I would curb stomp their *****.....into oblivion. They are a waste of air and no longer should have the right to breathe it, it is not necessarily about the destruction of the material possession, it is the fact that they did it. Examples like this are why I do NOT believe in rehabilitation, call it harsh or whatever, but this is why I think people like this should no longer walk the Earth.


AND yes I believe in the Code of Hammurabi.
