Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (7 Viewers)

That's a great dio Carlos, loads going on but isn't too 'busy'

Can you enlighten me as to where this guy is from? Can't remember coming across this figure before.

Cheers
Simon

Thanks Simon:

Yeah, what about that guy? Gees, I'm sorry I've forgotten exactly where I got it. I think it was some French Foreign (maybe Hatche or something) series OEM from King and Country. I got it from eBay sometime ago.

Maybe one of the Forum members has more information on this.

Really fantastic work, Carlos!! Who made the wounded guy resting on the front of the Snorkel Sherman? I am tempted to get one to lay on the front of mine.

Thanks Louis,

The wounded guy is from HB's new HB35 "US Medic Team, Europe Theatre".

Thanks Carlos,

It's great seeing you bored again Carlos and thanks for the second batch of photos..........The Lt.

I haven't been on Conte's website in a while and found some nice diorama pictures from Joe (a.k.a. playsetaddict). These are great pictures and Joe always does a nice job of choreographing his themes.

I know many of you of have already seen these pictures but here they are straight off Conte's websites.

This is a quick dio I did today, unfortunately I can't post pics since I have not signed up yet because I am too lazy, I hope you all can find it in your hearts to forgive me because of this. But I have a link to my user profile and if you click on it you can see the pics: http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/album.php?albumid=240&pictureid=3752

Regards,
Vick

Vick,

Just checked these out. That's a cool shot you've got there, both pre and post B&W treatment.
Don't recognise the figure in picture 1 though. Is it a K&C? :p;)

Simon

Great quickies or two Simon and nice seeing you joining Vick and Carlos who seemed also to be bored. What's next guys.............The Lt.

Thanks for the compliments Wraith and The Lt.
Wraith I think you and me have a Tunisian theme going now!:p

Snow Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vick:D:D:D:D

Vick,
Good stuff, I love the death, blood, gore, and war theme you have goin'. Are they real men who lived?
Mike

No, but I try to use realistic names to capture effect. Just wait till my fiction story I have to write for class, I have decided to have it about a veteran retelling his experience at Iwo Jima, as Flags of Our Fathers is one of my favorite films that makes me tear up, and I have the soundtrack on my iPod.

Vick:D:D:D:D

I post the story once its done

Vick
Great gritty shots and excellent set-ups-you are coming along very well young Skywalker:D

Simon
Admirable pictures and just lurve those Tunisian buildings and walls-could do with some of those as I am currently building- or trying to- authentic looking Alamo walls which is giving me real grief.

Carlos
Joe's work has always been my inspiration-he really is the stand alone dioramist in my book-helped of course by Conte's realistic figures. They are the supremists in getting their casualty figures to express the pain and the hell of warfare and constructing a dio around them one really cannot go wrong.
Now if only RC could get his customer care/deliverables/stock content/business plan to the excellent level of K&C!!!!!!!....... I live in hope that one day....................he just might.........one day.....

Cheers Reb.

What are you using for the Alamo walls?
The walls / Iraq building was one I've recently built in styrofoam. I took photos along the way if anyone is interested in a 'how to' thread.

Simon
