Steve,
delightful dios mate, are those Black uniformed troops Prussians or a special regiment?
Mmmm, saying that got me to thinking, that perhaps in the not so distant future that yes, someone skilled would no doubt be able, with AI to do some animation as Andy has recently, as Wayne has done in the past done with some photo effects, though of course, these would only visible on a screen, and perhaps Museums etc will employ such with their displays in the future, though I expect, they would do away with a display entirely and in which case the use of physical model soldiers would no longer be necessary and have a 3D digital display of such things.Steve,
I love the dioramas, especially the low-tech special effects! Great use of cotton for black powder smoke!
Steve,They're Black Brunswickers Matt.
Personally I'm old school in most things, prefer figures in a diorama any day.Mmmm, saying that got me to thinking, that perhaps in the not so distant future that yes, someone skilled would no doubt be able, with AI to do some animation as Andy has recently, as Wayne has done in the past done with some photo effects, though of course, these would only visible on a screen, and perhaps Museums etc will employ such with their displays in the future, though I expect, they would do away with a display entirely and in which case the use of physical model soldiers would no longer be necessary and have a 3D digital display of such things.
Doing away with the need for an actual display and the need for Museums themselves, moving it all online, No doubt local authorities would love to save money by doing that !
