Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (5 Viewers)

Wonderful scenes to look at while making my morning coffee. A great way to greet the morning at the beach.

Trust you are enjoying the change of scenery and breathing in all that Sea air !

Unfortunately these seem to be the only photos I still have from this time, I no longer have the photos of the French Lancers charging through the High wheat fields. But I'm sure if anyone is that interested, they will be able to find them in my previous Waterloo Campaign thread if they look back many years and thousands of posts !

Steve,

I love the dioramas, especially the low-tech special effects! Great use of cotton for black powder smoke!
Mmmm, saying that got me to thinking, that perhaps in the not so distant future that yes, someone skilled would no doubt be able, with AI to do some animation as Andy has recently, as Wayne has done in the past done with some photo effects, though of course, these would only visible on a screen, and perhaps Museums etc will employ such with their displays in the future, though I expect, they would do away with a display entirely and in which case the use of physical model soldiers would no longer be necessary and have a 3D digital display of such things.
Doing away with the need for an actual display and the need for Museums themselves, moving it all online, No doubt local authorities would love to save money by doing that !

Personally I'm old school in most things, prefer figures in a diorama any day.
