Nice pictures Jeff. I enjoy seeing what other's collect. I am looking forward to the Britain's French/Indian war and Zulu releases. Oh no! I never finished painting my Conte and metal Zulus. I will probably pass away with a paintbrush in my hand.:D Leadmen

Thanks Jeff, they are superb.

Thanks Kevin, I have a long way to go yet to match the quality of your pics. What I really need is more space so I can have diorama style displays with all the trimmings...one day perhaps :(

Jeff

Jeff you've become as talented with your camera as you are with your paint brush and until you have the space your seeking look at all the neat mini photo dio's you can put together........The Lt.

Jeff,
What magnificent photos.
I will try my best to emulate your examples when I get back to China.
Thank you for posting such great pics.
Best Regards

LT. The Grenadiers I shot last Summer before OTSN .My Nieces Hipro NIKON.
My wife wanted a new digital so I bought a Cannon powershot 8mp x 12 zoom. We figured it was more than suitable for her and at least adequate for miniature shoots. She likes it. I have to play with it somemore before I decide if I NEED another one.
Wer bought it almost a week ago and I Just now got around to a couple shots tonite.

Bear with me. I'm experimenting. Lets see how these come out.

Looking good Fubar, Love what you did with that Briatins Pak 75 howitzer team. They look so much better in USMC colors.

A special request and appeal goes out to Kevin, Simon and Bob along with others of the forum who attend the London show to share their boring times with us. I know it's a major event and a chance for you to spend some time with old friend maybe having a pint or two or three and it would be nice if you could fit in some time taking photos of the boring times. Hope you have a great time at the show and wish I was along to share a pint or two with you .....The Lt.

Just about to go get the train. Have camea packed and will snap away Lt.

Wow, have been busy, but whenever bored, I check out this site. Great setups Fub, Panda, Jeff, and Lt.. Fub, really nice paint jobs on all the soldiers, you really have a way with dio's. Great stuff, I hope everyone has a great time at the show, happy hunting, Mike:)

Yes, I must be bored, LOL.

Here are some pictures I took over two years ago of one of my first scenes. I guess I've improved a little bit since then huh? But it was still lots of fun.

Your first effort is still a good deal better than what I can do today . . . very nice work!

Thanks guys,

It continues to be doing this and it really takes the edge off the stress of work.

debrito,

The GI's are a mix of Britains, ONWTC and FOV.

The Germans are even more of a mix from KC, HJB, Conte, ONWTC, Britains, FOV and the 10.5cm gun is Frontlines.

What might be fun is to guess which figures belong to which company.

We'll I'm off to have fun today with the following itinerary:

First off to Palomar Airport in San Diego Area to get a ride on an old “1941 North American SNJ-4 Texan” (Warbird Adventure) courtesy of my wife.

Then off to see Craig McClain, Old Toy Soldiers of San Diego for their Christmas Party Bash and finally to Nick and Deanna’s place (Toy Soldiers of San Diego – TSSD) for their Christmas Party and hopefully to see USC beat UCLA.

Carlos

Carlos: Thanks for posting the fine pictures. I don't remember them. You sure have a nice collection. What a day you got today. Don't sound any better then that. Have a safe flight and wish Nick and Deanna a happy holiday from their TF customers.Leadmen
