Thanks Zach. Your thread was the inspiration for mine.

I read this post as "I saw the Bee Gees for the first time (in person) at the show-luckily I caught myself before the rest....................:wink2:.......man I'm still out of it since the show, I need sleep.............

Thanks John, appreciate it.

This is a Sudan Baggage Camel painted for me by Jeff (aujj65), from a Tradition casting.

If you're interested in the process of how Jeff painted it, please see this thread, http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?7867-Sudan-Baggage-Camel&highlight=

Jeff does excellent work but unfortunately has retired from the painting world. A pity!

Brad,

I can't believe that it was six & a half years ago!

Eye strain, paint fumes and the general lack of green paint catches up with you in the end! :wink2:^&grin

Glad you are still enjoying it. :salute::

Jeff

Georg Von Frundsberg from the First Legion Landsknechts range, an absolutely superb figure.

Thanks Chris.

Next up are three figures from Last Stand of the Seaforths, issued in 1996.

I always loved that Sergeant with his foot up on the ammunition box. Makes you wonder where K&C could have taken glossy figures if they had just kept going after 1996 . . . :redface2:

I agree Louis. I'd like to see K & C do some in a limited way.

Here are the other two figures from the set.

The officer with his pith helmet at his feet is another great figure. The Seaforth Maxim Gun Team shows similar, superior sculpting.

General Alexander Von Kluck, AeroArt 6280, from their World War I collection.

Davy Crockett, from Trophy's Alamo range.

Arab Bedouin from Trophy's Egypt and Sudan range. The base was made by King & Country and was a gift from Andy to the late Lawrence Lo, which Hans Hedrich has kindly given to me.
