Hi Guys
Ive just heard from the horses mouth (ie Tom) That we will be seeing Brit Paras in the next couple of Months!!!!

Wouldn't tell me any more, What do you guys recon he should make.

I would like :
Brit Paras with Knives.
Paras with granades.
Some cooking tea with mess cans.

What do you guys think.

Dave

Dave:

That might be interesting. Thomnas Gunn does an excellent job and I have many of their sets.

The challenge is to out do King and Country's last two releases which were excellent. How about a Horsa? Now that would be a big Top.

Carlos

Horsa might be a "Bridge too Far" :) well to start off with anyway, Id like to see how he does the figures first.

I think it great news as I fill we need a regular supply of British paras being made instead of one drop a year :D
I would like to see a correct rec jeep for a start & a seventeen pounder gun with full crew would be good

Great news Arnhem44mad is gonna be a happy boy!!!

They should be great sets if the green devils are to go by

Can't wait to see what he comes up with. If there anywhere close to what hes produced already, we are in for a treat.

Do you think he will try to copy King and country's sets or go down his own road and bring out completely new ideas and sets?:D

Looking forward to them since he does tend to put out almost exclusively action sets. I think a good choice for his first allied release but I was expecting 8th army for TGM.

I am just wondering if it makes commercial sense for TGM to go head to head with the current K & C range which is apparently selling ok. That said, I guess TGM do mix with K & C products better than some other of their competitors, so maybe it is a good idea.

What do you guys reckon?

I can't imagine TGM and K&C going head to head on anything...

I think TGM will do well + I fill there a need for more British paras witch should compliment what K&C have already made

Oz,

Generally, I think they are pretty compatible, looking forward to viewing an Allied release. Alby

I really do hope they mix well, as I have near enough all of k&c's offerings, Really can't wait to see what he comes up with.

K&C have such a diverse range which is great, but it does mean that it restricts them from not releasing Brit Paras every month :)

I am hoping these will fill the gap nicely.

Variety is the spice of life. I don't think there is any head-to-head as CC have an arnhem range which, I think are not compatible with any Market Garden that K&C have done new or old. It is great for collectors to have the choice and TG sell quite well and are price orientated to the collector a little more than all other manufacturers, though, will this stay the same as TG grows (hope so) I think its abig enough world that everyone can have ashare and, be happy. Its what its all about

Alby and Dave, I have Four of the TGM German FJ "Normandy" sets and I think they go well with my K & C "Normandy" Germans so I imagine their new Brit Paras should blend ok.

The TGM sets have really fine detail for their price and have some unique features such as a guy with pipe, eye patches etc. But I wasn't a big fan of the camera guy with the mortar set, I would have prefered another soldier instead.

Lets hope for casualties (DEAD paras/British) my SS need something to walk on.............................:D
