Britains the War Along the Nile (2 Viewers)

Hi Tommy/Martyn
I recognise the style of those bases. They will have been made by our good friend David at TM Terrain, he has made similar bases for me (as well asthe big stuff)
Thoroughly recommended.
Regards
Clive

Thanks Clive

Cheers

Martyn:)

Ok I am wrapped in the new Stretcher camel, the camel and wounded looks fine against the medic camel. If you look long and hard you might notice the medic himself is bigger than the two wounded, but it is not obvious. The wounded are the same size as the one being carried on the Zulu 3 figure stretcher set 20069. Great piece, so pleased to have it. Cannot wait to include in my upcoming planned scenes. Cheers, Robin.

Very nice Robin. As nice Britians are they still have more strides to make regarding their mounted figures. I have a few that don't match up properly with foot soldiers.

I see in the Battle Picture there are at least 2 more York and Lancaster figures..

Well spotted! - A slew of more Yorks and Lancs are slated for the next catalog (mid to late February)....got to fill out that square!

The mounted Mahdist arrived the other day. Thought I would post some pics. It's a nice piece. Can't wait for the rest to arrive..

Pleased to find one of my Britain's Mahdist camels to have the limited certificate number, of 0001 of 1,000. First time for me to get a number one. Works well with Heritage also. Cheers, Robin.

Robin,
Congrats on getting #0001, that's impressive. The Heritage camel set does look very good with the Britain sets...

The Britain's new releases for February are now out on the site, showing yet again several Nile and Zulu figures held over to March. Talk about drip feed, I preordered these almost a year ago. Just have to extremely patient. Cheers, Robin.

I feel your pain and disappointment Robin. Just checked out the ACW WB releases that were scheduled for February and 4 of the sets have been postponed once again until March. Considering the shipping disruptions casued by the Chineese New Year celebrations and "down time" I wouldn't be surprised if the now scheduled March releases will be delayed yet again. At least February will be easy on the budget.

Well..that's not what I wanted to hear. My Britains Sudan forces need the ranks filled in. The one figure (piece) set thing is not really working for me, I would like to see 2 figure sets..It takes to long to get a good square built up...JJD Gordons are filling out the left side nicely though.

The latest release in the series arrived today. The mounted camel corps officer. It's a nice piece. Great sculpt. I can't get enough of the camels...love'em...

Yes mine is in the post also Brent. Hope there are some more camels in future releases. Cheers, Robin.

Ive been waiting a long time for that exact figure. I'm glad you have had one in your hands and like it. Mine should arrive next week

My troops finally have someone to lead them today (number 0576 of 1,000), even if he is the only one not walking. Very nice, so far the centre piece, only the Nile boat will up stage him, so he should be safe for a very long time. Cheers, Robin.

Not the best pics...taken with my phone just to get a quick shot up...
