Britain's Zulu War (1 Viewer)

Well by golly Titus I am glad to see you posting a picture of some of your AZW collection. Great looking picture. For those members of the forum reading this, it would be worth your while to go to Jagdpanter's profile page and spend some time looking at his AZW album and his Napoleonic album. Both of his albums have some great looking pictures of his collection.

All great pictures guys.

I agree with Joe's (the Lt) comments entirely

Cheers

I no its only one, but I try to get them out when I can.

Titus

That's a great looking shot-I love the light/shade effect as if a dark cloud has hidden part of the sun-I don't know whether you planned it that way or the back-drop caused the effect but regardless it's a stunning pic. Well done!

The Day of the Dead Moon

Bob et al, there was an eclipse at around 1430hrs on that day that almost brought the fighting to a stop for a couple minutes. It had been an omen for the Zulu not to fight on this day, but were "persuaded" by the Impi discovery by Lt.s Raw and Roberts as thousands of Zulu camped in a hidden valley north of Isandlwhana.
And Titus...Great picture!

Looks like this Officer of the 24th Foot is going to get the better of this Zulu Warrior....The Lt.

I believe that Zulu warrior has never heard the expression "Its not wise to bring a knife to a gun fight" - Great shot - no pun intended :D . . . . . . . . . . Mike

Couple more snaps taken at my land of the Zulus

This one shows my favourite Zulu figure, set and non Zulu figure. (I know the NMP are a set but they are equally as good as each other so I couldn't just pick one :D)

This warrior of the uMbonambi "those who see sorrow", should be at home on this fine day with his wives and kin. Instead, he must heed his King's call to defend the kingdom from the redcoats of the "great white Queen".
Mike
PS-Nice ones Scott!

Ouch! Does anybody have any Excedrin - this ranker is going to need some. Nice Scott.

Also, Mike - very nice close-up of the Zulu warrior that is away from his wives.

That looks great Joe. I haven't got one of those yet and is something I plan on making. Great picture as always. Weather here has been too nice to spend any real time inside - getting lots of yard and patio time in, thus no pictures of late. Supposed to rain here on Tuesday - might be a nice play day for me if it does.
Mike

Thought I'd get a little playtime in between session on the subject of additional sets and figures. Seems like the action at the dog leg is heating up.....The Lt.

A really fantastic looking picture LT. I really like that you can see the wagons in the background. Just really nice.
