TO BE CONTINUED
Oh my. . . . It really doesn't look very good for your favorite ranker Joe.
On another note . . . I checked the Wm Britain web site today and noticed that the 5 new AZW figure sets have been pushed back on release dates. Sets #20036 (Schiess), #20037 (Dalton), and #20039 (firing in shirt sleeves) are now scheduled for October. Set #20038 (Hook) is scheduled for November and set #20041 (kneeling loading) is scheduled for release in January 2010. The ACW farmhouse which I am also anxiously waiting on is now scheduled for a December release - bummer.
Mike
Agree Mike but there's a bunch of Nappy's and ACW figures due earlier so it should make you happy until the Schiess and the Brits come our way...Joe
Looks like my favorite little Brit's in it for this time. Glad you like the last photo Michae, Mike and Brian l as I said that story line is to continue...The Lt.

Great looking calendars Joe. Thank you very much. Can't believe its September already.
Received my copy of the new Standard today. Included with it was a birthday certificate worth $8 towards a Wm Britiain purchase. Also pre-ordered #50012C matte Zulu War era 24th Foot Advancing wearing a Glengarry
. These are to be shipped to club members who order them in December.
Mike
Well we've got the new catalog to look forward to Mike within the next three weeks and our friends across the pond will more than likely get theirs shortly before us. Got a hunch Mike that the 24th Foot wearing the Glengarry will be getting a dressing down from Colour-Sergeant Bourne when they meet he's wearing his haversack and water bottle incorrectly. By the way there was no Bugle Boy assigned to B Company at Rorke's Drift on the 22nd and 23rd of January but he'll fit in very nicely as an addition to the set of The Closing Stages of Isandlwana. Thanks guys for the comments on the Calendars I enjoy making them and passing them on. Martyn the rankers not out of the woods by any means.....The Lt.
I have looked at the picture of 50012C and don't see what you mean LT. It appears that his water bottle strap is over his left shoulder and his haversack strap is over his right shoulder as similarly worn by the other AZW figures we have. It would be more helpful if there was a back view of this one.
Mike
The water bottle is to worn over the haversack and not under it as shown Mike

Thanks Joe for the clarification. I thought it might be that and it does make since . . . . harder to get to the water bottle if its held down by the haversack strap. Colour Sgt Bourne is going to have to have a chat then with #20004 24th Foot Waving Helmet and also #50008C 24th Foot Wounded
Mike
This ends the story line Martyn and I'm sure you can see why.....The Lt.
