Britain's Zulu War (1 Viewer)

Returning to living color Mike with a little playtime in front of the hospital.

He sure isn't Scott and Michael seems like they are. Received my Fall Supplement this AM and I'm sure the REDCOAT Collectors are jumping with joy and can see why. Seems like our matte 24th are on parade in their shiny dress uniforms and are schedule to be fitted in their matte uniform and posed for action to be available to arrive in Zulu Land in 2010.:rolleyes: Would be nice to see a larger photo of the Bugle Boy in the near future. There's no doubt that the UKReb's very pleased with the Chosen Ground Command Set along with others who collect the ACW series. Just hoping to hear that my request for Corporal Allen will be provided unattached to the mealie bags there's plently of time to make it happen. Keeping this short and sweet as the Supplement.

I am thinking of taking the plunge to the Zulu war matte range. The only sets I currently have are the Isandlwana set, the two wounded Zulus and the Hospital set. I was not sold on the 24th figures, but the Zulu figures and new set with Reynolds and Allen and the other named figures look great along with the Storehouse and bakehouse sets.

I'm sure you won't regret taking the plunge Brian and as you've shown you Little Legions blend in nicely with the hospital and will as well with the storehouse. I'm sure once you begin to add the additional 24th figures along with the the additional Zulu warriors you'll be glad you made the plunge. That said a little more playtime from my end.

Good Morning LT. Enjoying your new recently posted pictures as I drink my first cup of coffee. Have a great day . . . . . . Mike

Hope you enjoyed your coffee and that your day goes well. The Zulu War glossy figures made their appearance un doctored so thought I'd feature the matte figures doctored and un doctored:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Great photograph LT. Very sharply defined. I really like how this brings out the expression in this ranker's face. Having some technical difficulties at my end this morning. The SD mini disk from my camera is not downloading my pictures this morning - computer is not even recognizing it when inserted into the SD port. Now what's going on!?

Lt.,
Saw Him last night...great figure , and he's loading one hell of a round into that rifle!
Mike, Can't you download direct from the camera with a USB cable? I won't enjoy my coffee this morn until your tech problem is rectified:p

Mike, I have an inexpensive basic Vivitar digital camera - nothing fancy - it was a service award from work. Anyway, the feature in the camera that interacts with the USB cable that came with it quit working some months ago, so I have been using the Kodak SD disk I bought for it to download my pictures. I am hoping the SD disk is malfunctioning and not the computer SD port. When my son-in-law gets home from work tonight I am going to ask him to bring one of his SD disks over to see if it works. If it doesn't, I'll just run the computer tower over to Best Buy where I got it from and let the Geek Squad look at it - it is due for a cleaning anyway which will not cost me anything under my warranty contract. As Winnie the Pooh would say, "Oh bother"

Seems that Schiess, Dalton and the 24th foot in shirt sleeves have arrived at WB's and should be shipping this week and if so should be available for me to pick them up sometime next week. I'm sure they'll be arriving earlier for others to begin to play with.
