Jag looks like you've the begining of a great Zulu playland and looking forward to seeing it being built on....The Lt.

I been looking at Britians New Matte Zulu War figures lately and thinking about going for the plunge and buy them. There are alot of you that collect Zulu figures what do you think?

I was hesitating buying these, because I fell into the Black Hole of buying Little Legion and I do not want to get out, I prefer gloss figures.

After seeing these figures in the Britain's room at the OSTN, I may breakdown and buy a few figures and hope I do not get addicted to another Zulu Series.

Deitz you'll find the matte figures fun to play with as much as to llok at. Back to play time.......The Lt.

Hey nice photos of the matte figures, Lt. I just received the guy below in the mail today and he is very nicely done. Sorry it's not my own photo, but just getting moved into our new home this week and will have to come up with some suitable display space so I can set my guys up and start contributing some tangible stuff to this thread. Well done WB on another great addition to this great range.

Nice Lt! I need melie bags awfully bad. :)

Here's a great way to start building your mealie bag walls which you'll note will go very well with yor newly acquired Brit figures. They're from the Hudson and Allen Studio and arrived at the Lt. Land of The Zulus this AM and be sure to thank Ericka for creating them.......The Lt.

Those bags look quite nice. Where did you find them? I see no reference to them in the H&A section here or anywhere else with a search.

Hi All!
Ericka and I had some some of the new Zulu War Meale bags for sale at the OTSN show in Chicago. We sent Joe a few to play test for us too.
These are made of linen and have the blue and red stripes as seen in Lady Butler's painting of Rorke's Drift sewn in by Ericka. These are filled with sand so they can be stacked, the same as our military sand bags.
These are very labor intensive and in order to keep the price reasonable they are only availible direct from Hudson & Allen Studio for the moment.
These are sold in packages of 6 bags for $20.00 plus shipping.
All the Best,
Ken

You're going for a big display I see. With the building added you get a good sense of scale. Better start recruiting on both sides:D.

Noticed right off Jag your well built kraal and one of the two wagons need in building your south wall along with the hospital that you have well placed. You'll end up really enjoying your Drift as you watch grow and the fun you'll have doing it. Your off to a good start. Joachim it's been fun test playing with the new mealie bags which can be used with the Brit wagon Jag's got in creating his south wall..........The Lt.
