Yes I bought them for that purpose. It was a pack of 6. I am going to add embelish them as they are just 3/4" cubes of wood. More to follow........

This is what I was talking about.....

Scott,
That is a really neat way of making the crates(biscuit boxes). I think that they will not only adequate, but to EXACT scale. Let me get back to you on the dimensions of the WD boxes.

Joachim,

In some of the areas of the perimeter, especially the front of the Storehouse, the 200pd mealie bags and biscuit boxes were placed on line with the drop in terrain of between 2 and 5feet. This brought the height of defence up to almost 7-8 feet in areas in front of the Storehouse. Also, the boxes were 2 foot square so two rows is 4 feet high. Now add constant lead in the air from these positions and you have a perimeter to die for. Mike

Your biscuit boxes will do quite well Scott and you can feature them along with your current lonely 24th foot with others once they arrive at your Mission Station.....The Lt.

Cheers LT. I am quite enjoying making them, looks like I will need a few more. One parcel arrived from Natal yesterday but I am not allowed to open it until Monday (as it is a birthday gift)

Good to see people constructing their own stuff and not just buy premade things. It adds depth to the hobby. Please continue.

You'll note Vick that the loaded their Martini-Henry's quick enough and it's two for the lads in the red tunics......The Lt.

I hope they have a fellow watching their backs, because you never know who is going to come up from behind.

Has anyone received their Isandlwana or Natal Mounted Police set yet? If like me you haven't have you been advised when you might do so?

The NMP is one of my favorite units of the AZW and it seems like I've waited 7-8 months too long already!

They are at the Police Acad, they should graduate soon. Then they will have to learn how to ride.
