Britain's Zulu War (1 Viewer)

Got a chance to see both sets 20017 of Lt. Bromhead and set 20029 "Defending the Wall" which arrived today at the History Store not far from me. For those of you who haven't seen them yet and have them on order you'll be extremely pleased with them once they arrive at your Mission Stations. Ken did an outstanding job in bringing them to life and will fit in very nicely in adding to the defenses of Rorke's Drift and in defending it.........The Lt.

I think Our Lord General must have gotten something to bring back for the Captain. He must be setting some beauties as we speak (type). I know he's a sucker for Bromhead and the VC winners!

I made a boo boo Michael the Lieutenant Bromhead set number is 20027 and not 20017. I check on the current conversion of the US Dollar to the British Pound at in US Dollars Lt. Melvill dollar amount is $220.00,

Here's Bromhead Michael

Lt.,
Many thanks for posting this photo of Lt. Melvill with the Colours. It's the first Iv'e seen of him. I am going to reserve judgement for now and wait to see how versatile the piece is. Anyone elso have an immediate opinion besides Jag?
Mike

That model zone exclusive looks really nice! $220.00! I received Bromhead and that defending set yesterday I will try post pics later today when I get my new camera.

While I think it looks great, I believe because of the attached cliff it's a stationary piece. You can't do much with it (diorama wise)and with such a high price tag probably one a lot of collectors may pass on.

Perhaps I'll win the lottery and it won't matter :D :D :D

I agree,

not as versatile as could be with the cliff formation on his hooves, would be hard to work in any scenes.

Joe commented to me, "That the angle of the pistol would be difficult to pose also".

There's a bit of time to save up for the MZ exclusive of Lieutenant Melvill, it's not released until July;)

Cheers

Martyn:)
