British and Irish Lions Rugby tour of Australia (1 Viewer)

erm we beat you with a bad performing weakened team ...so if thats all we got it was still better than the clowns you fielded. I guess you will be without Horwell for the next 2 tests also as he has been cited for stamping .

where was the ref who let the game flow .... nearly every breakdown was pinged usually in favour of the aussies . Hopefully we have a northern hemisphere ref next week .

Steve,
Seems you guessed wrong on Horwill. Just been cleared.
Brett

Paper today saying Folau's agent stopped talking to League clubs a month ago waiting on his selection for Rugby. Appears Rugby will be financially better for him.

(England going to be happy about Australian Cricket coaching issues with coach sacked and Captain Clarke stepping down from the selection panel).

Mate there are some EGO,s on this team that should be left in the shed.
Send home Warner not a test player IMO and lacks discipline, send home Watson another sook
and play blokes that want to play as a team.
To be honest with all this BS going on its ruining what could be a great season of cricket.
I heard Darren Lehman is taking over {eek3} you have to be joking.
Mitchell Johnson bowling at 145KMH + and not in the team you have to be joking,
the brits will be thinking glad he isn't in.
As for Phil Hughes how does he get a game in front of Shaun Marsh,it pays to come from NSW..................:mad:

Wayne,
Surely you can not be against a Coach who has the nickname "Boof".^&grin Not exactly known for his fitness and diet but not done badly as a coach so far.

Now there is a chance an Australian player might have a chance to break Merv Hughes's record. You know, the one for the number of beers consumed on a flight from Australia to England. Warner might be the favourite for that but agree send him home and he can try for the record on his way back.

Suddenly the game is stolen from the Lions
Wow
This is quite exciting

Australia win! Though I have no idea what is going on with the penalties. I am always left perplexed by this game. I feel I should be loving it but it is pretty hard to comprehend for a layman.

at least you had a ref to compensate for all your injuries . forgot his cards ( you should have been down to 14 twice ) , didn't give the Lions a chance at the breakdown and couldn't manage a scrum all day .
Apart from that it was a great game , now if only you aussies knew where to put your head when tackling the medics wouldn't be needed .

Roll on to Melbourne next week and a series victory then we can start with the ashes and a glorious summer .

You where saying MATEY see you in Sydney cobber..............^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin

GO WALLABIES
I still would like to see Quade Cooper in the #10 ^&grin

''STOLEN'' now how do you come to that conclusion? a close game yes but stolen from the Lions? no way.^&confuse
Wayne.

Generally if you are trailing until the end and then win it is called stolen.
Never the less an exciting game

Pipped at the post is what it is called - coming from a convict nation, we know what stolen means; to take something that wasn't ours is not what that game was about :)

Well it was a really exciting game stolen or pipped.
Sometimes it is nice to just enjoy a good game without having to support either team.
Will be interesting to see what happens next week.

Looks like the Lions have it in the bag this time
I have enjoyed this series.

Well done the British Lions! Well played indeed for an historic win!:salute::^&cool

Yeah yeah yeah it was a ok win no big deal.....................^&grin
Na great win now bring on the real contest Australia V England ONLY in the cricket................{sm4}
Best thing about the Loss is Deans will get the sack and a Aussie can coach our Australian team, the way it should be.

Word is it may be Jake White seeing how the Brumbies beat the Lions.

That's the only trouble with sport Wayne, you gotta take the downs as well as the ups{sm2}:salute:: (I learned that in the 70's when we were playing you guys or the West Indies!)Your team played very well in the last test and I was surprised at the big diff in scores this time. Well played the British and Irish Lions though!

Now for the Ashes.....
