Thanks Frank.....You know the drill....You get lucky once and a while.

By the way for you diorama makers the terrain is not a purchased mat. It is a dyed bathroom rug $20, with some home made trees from twigs and dried flowers..

Alex,

Great picture, I am considering buying a Puma myself.
I know the Puma comes with one of the two soldiers you have riding the car, where did the other one come from.
Cheers

For the foot soldier, the shadowing Puma would give them a fair degree of confidence that they had fire power protection at their backs. Nicely set out, cheers, Robin.

Thanks Robin.....Lets see what the recon runs into ?

Now that's realism Alex! About the only thing i would say is, i hope a bush fire doesn't get started from the hot exaust pipes on the vehicles....:rolleyes2: That's my humour for the day, well done mate!

Thanks...I dont know about the exhaust, but the action should get hot soon. :wink2:

By the way I used AK Products Rust ( We use to make our own rust with.....Well rust ) and redid the exhaust.

Also another tip take a pencil and lightly rub the corners where there is wear to give a metal effect. You can see this work in the picture taken from the rear.

The Patrol Haults......They sense danger.

I am getting annoyed with Photobucket. The pics dont seem clear. Does anyone use another photosharing service they can recommend.

Good crisp photo. The vehicles almost disappear in the terrain, well matched, cheers, Robin.

Alex,

I use Photobucket and I don't have any problems. What resolution are you posting up to Photobucket? I post different resolutions depending on the final use. For pics I want to share on the forums I presize them to 1000 pixels width (~500 kilobyte size) prior to uploading. This prevents Photobucket or the forum from doing any realtime "web sizing" which can happen with large image and result in undesirable compression.

That is what I always do on all my models. The exhausts first get a tiny layer of universal filler to give them a more harsh look the I apply the AK rust pigments light and dark colour. I already used a few pencils myself on my vehicles and AFV's ( you'll soon see in my "Puma" dio)
