Like the shots Michael!
I got a couple of this set. Very unique in that you don't see many men of the cloth portrayed in this era. Great story as well.
thanks all of y'all for the kind words...yes these figures make a great set and I do sorely miss creating the dioramas and taking the pictures like I used to for the monthly releases...but the truth is...I think...JJD seems to be moving away from the 7 Years War and into WWI and the Spanish Civil War much stronger...there seems to be fewer and fewer releases for my collections lately and more planes, tanks and vehicles for the new series he has started...
I'm really still hoping that we will see more St. Francis...I dunno...maybe not...
I'm still hoping for more Jacobites too...
but I think he's pretty much a "one man show" on the sculpting...and anything he does monthly for the "mechanized series"...takes time away from stuff he would have been doing that I collect...so...as he releases more of Condor and WWI...I see less of the other stuff that I want....
as he develops the WWI and Condor Legion...and as Snow Shoes and Monongahela are finished...it has taken a large bite out of my FIW monthly spending...
the last couple of months I have only bought one or two sets per month...I used to buy 6-9 sets monthly...very often...more than that...I'm not collecting planes and tanks...so my spending has dropped off to almost nothing...
perhaps the last few months are an anomoly...with more pieces for Condor and WWI than FIW...I know JJ has been anxious to expand and explore creating different things...I don't blame him...he must be bored with Indians...
I'm anxiously awaiting more St. Francis...more 1812...and more Jacobites...hopefully...there is a lot of stuff coming out soon...
