Guys

Stirred on by Mike's stunning shots of his Britain's Nap collection also being the instigator of the thread asking if any of you collected Britains other than Zulu which you followed up with all your sterling replies-thought it only prudent I post something in this category rather than just my mouth.

Some of you may know I tend to mix manufacturers when executing a diorama but for this thread I carefully selected only Britain's figures; cannon; walls and defenses. I then cobbled them together in the scenes below that is not depicting any particular engagement but rather a scene that was indicative of the many brave and sometimes suicidal Reb assaults during those four years of conflict. Hope you like some of the Reb's Britain's ACW collection that I put together for the shoot.;)

Once again Reb very well done and photogtraphed and knew it wouldn't be long before your Rebs and Yanks made an appreance.....The Lt.

Hey Reb, impressive as usual, I always look forward to your diodramas.

Excellent scenes Reb! No surprises coming from the master of ACW dioramas I suppose. :)

Great diorama! Great photos! thanks for the inspiration to keep painting and collecting!

I Love It ! :D These britain figures are wonderful - aren't they?

Who makes the grass mat you are using ? - it looks great and I need to get a couple for my dioramas.

Your whole diorama scene is just fantastic - thanks for sharing it.

One suggestion Reb, The limber is too close to the gun and in the wrong position at the side of one gun. The limber is to the rear with the "horse end" forward. It's for safety and mobility. Even in some extreme combat situation it's unlikely the limber was so close as a limber chest could be man handled forward to the gun.

This is the kind of detail "buffs" and "experts" and other @$$ holes pick out.

Malvern Hill anyone? Fantastic shots Bob. By golly REB I think you may have started something with your previous thread. Can't beat the WB battlefield scenics and buildings and their figures are top shelf.
Mike

Bob................the coolest.:cool::cool::cool:

I love your work, thank you for the large battle scenes.

Nobody can work props like you.

Very cool!!!

I must say for my taste, your dio's are consistently among the best posted on this Forum. They're well thought out and set up.

Not an expert on these matters, but could it be that they are positioned like this to get them all in the photo?

Thanks Jeff as that was the general idea-but if one post's dios on here you have to accept the fact that some guys might not like them-Remember the Alamo! :D

Sure. Not an "expert" either but I have seen the drill and old pictures for the CW/WBTS. Folks notice.

It might make a good shot of the crew accessing the limbers for nitpickers like me.

Come on Bob......I like your work.

Just a suggestion based on the period drill. The "buffs" notice.

Impressive seeing it all laid out together. Did I hear some one shout - "Double Canister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"???

It still amazes me every time I go back to Gettysburg or any other ACW battlefield for that matter and see the fields of fire the artillery had and wonder - how did the infantry do it? What discipline and courage.

Reb,
I would prefer hand-to-hand! Or you don't want to get your men dirty?:D
Lovin' the whole kit! Some awesome photog work and set-up, Thanks for posting.:)
