From Keith Rocco, Battle of Sailors Creek.

Note: I've always wanted to do a cavalry dio but never had enough figs. Thanks to JJD for his Black Horse releases. I prefer later war uniforms but we work we what we have. Apologies to John for the other manufacturer's figs but needed some opposing forces and more figs to round out the scenes. Used 6 different brands. Chris

You've done an excellent battle scene with your Cavalry skirmish Chris !:salute::

Not knowing uniform details of the ACW, I can only say the different manufacturers blend in well together, Good job !{bravo}}

Looks really good, Chris. Captures a cavalry melee perfectly. Must chase those '**** Yankees' off the sacred soil of Virginia! -- Al

Very nicely done Chris.

Chris,

Man....what an extremely well done scene you've created here!!! Lots of action and you captured the feel of Rocco's painting perfectly.

I agree with your statement of "you got to work with that you got". You blended the various manufacturers quite well.

Great job and thanks for sharing this with us!!

Thanks Mark, I would like to have made a second rank, especially for the Rebs, but it's cost prohibitive. :redface2: Chris

Chris,
Such a well placed scene. You've really captured the anticipated crash of horses, men and arms, as well as, the entanglement of close combat.

Steve

Outstanding. I am not a purist when it comes to mixing manufactures and this scene excites me to do the same when I can bring all my figures together.
